Just got our NOA2 approved (NOA1 as of April 24, 2017).  The waiting nightmare is over for us!  Good luck to all the April filers and I sincerely hope your approval is coming any moment now.

Very Cool, I just saw TWO case from Philippines approved on my Android app.

One from 4/19 and one from 4/20

I know I sound like broken record here but get that DS-160 done

Congrats.

Oh 5am in Philippines let us know what your fiancee says once you give her the incredible news

and update that timeline when you get a chance

Congrats to @bmbethea per IGOR's listed 4/25 with approval today so 147 days for them.

Our 2nd VJ member so far today 9/19 need at least 3 more of you to make the daily average of 5 VJ approvals per day.

I've never been through DFW internationally. When I have, it was to Vancouver B.C. and back, and US immigration is in the Vancouver airport. I was asked once coming back if I was a Cowboys fan, and I said absolutely not. He smiled and let me go without any further questions...haha

I usually fly from Austin to LAX or SFO when going to PH.  LAX is its own special circus when you arrive at immigration.

Internationally adds a whole new dimension to traveling.  At DFW, I was asked a LOT of questions, especially pertaining to my work.  Usually someone doesn't understand what I do so I just sum it up by saying 'cardiology'.  The officer then wants specifics, and tries to pin me down how to identify an 'embolism and predictions and outcomes'......  Talk about deer in the headlights look, like you could talk for hours just on the types, let alone geography.  After flying for more than 24 hours, I simply was not in the mood.  Not sure if he was surfing WebMD the night before or what the line of questions was about, but next time I get asked for specifics, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna answer "I change Bed Pans!"

Hey can I ask what the benefit of getting the DS 160 done straight away is? Like do we need to do it straight away? I'm a bit clueless of the next steps lol ...

I have connecting as well because Oklahoma doesnt have a POE, just security. So I decided to fly to Houston which would be my POE anyway and we'll drive to Tulsa, because its cheaper, and layover is about 1-2 hrs. Apparently people from Oklahoma don't travel out of country much.  Trent sent me a pic and the airport was like a ghost town

That's oklahoma! I'll be going to Oklahoma City :). It's always a ghost town! International travel is only to Mexico. But it makes security much easier!!

Thank you for your kind words. I am the fiancee from the Philippines. I just got in from work and my fiance flooded me with his messages. I was jumping for joy. I wish everybody goodluck. I hope we can celebrate our Christmas together.
