So last night, I get this email.  It says my file has been reviewed.  My question is the noticeable missing from this list is the I.134, and Continuing Relationship Evidence.   Is this list standard? Or is my heavily front loaded I.129f paying off?

Any Ph filers see any difference in this email compared to yours?  I also noticed the font is different in the list part than the rest of the e-mail font, like a blank was typed on with what they needed.......

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL. Please be advised that this account is unable to receive messages. For inquiries you may send an e-mail to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com or call the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502 Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S should call (703) 520-2235, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:

REF CASE: MNL201773XXXX

Congratulations on your upcoming immigrant visa interview.  Your file is now with the U.S. Embassy in Manila and we have had a chance to review it.  Based on our review, you need to bring the following documents with you to your interview:

FROM APPLICANT(S)

- Application Fee

- Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

- Certificate of No Record of Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) within the past 12 months for XXXXXXXXXXX

- Medical examination results for XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

CLEARANCES

- National Bureau of Investigations (NBI) Clearance issued within the past 12 months for  XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Please remember to bring with you:

- Bring a valid passport and all expired passports for each applicant.

- Bring a confirmation page from your DS-260 online application for each visa applicant.

- If you have lived in a country other than the Philippines or the United States for more than 12 months, please submit a police clearance from that country.  For more information please go to: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country.html, search for the country you lived in before, and look at the information provided in the "police records" section.

- All applicants must register their delivery address online.  We are unable to deliver your passport and visa if you fail to register a delivery address. To register online, click on the “Select Document Delivery Address” link under the Immigrant Visas section of our website (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/) .  Once there, click on the first link under the “More Actions”  to register a delivery address for the first time, or to change an existing delivery address. If you have any question(s) on how to register a delivery address, please contact Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service Center at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502.

We hope this email helps you prepare for your interview.  If you are unable to obtain all of the requested documents, you may still attend your interview at the U.S. Embassy. However, if you do not bring these documents to your interview, it will delay the issuance of your visa.

Sincerely,

Immigrant Visa Section

U.S. Embassy

Manila, Philippines

Ours was different, but it might because we received the email after scheduling an appointment and submitting the DS-160.

If you go the embassy website there is an interview checklist that lists the requirements. The I-134 and continuing relationship proof is on that list. I believe this is to mean the new "Letters of Intent to Marry" and proof of continuing relationship since filing.

For us, she has the I-134, new intent letters with recent dates, and Skype and WhatsApp printouts. We added more photos with family.

Yeah, we also already finished the DS-160 and scheduled the interview.  We are ready, the whole package is in a folder with tabs and I'm bringing updated paystubs, 2016 Tax Transcript, and photos of my last visit while 129F was waiting approval.  I fly over again in 2 weeks for the interview......  I just found the email to be 'altered' and thought it was individually tailored.  Our 129F was heavily front loaded (let them pay the shipping of all those documents instead of me :D )  But you answered my question, it is a slightly different email.   Thanx!

I tried late last night and again this morning.  Nothing yet.  LOL, trust me I will let ya'all know when I get that.  I need my house to sell quickly now to be able to go to be with her.

It should be there tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. Call twice a day though for sure.

If you sell your house then will you just rent in Oregon when you come back here for the wedding?

Property here in PNW is selling faster than it can be listed so you should not have much problem if you are anywhere near the city.

for the ones that haven't received their NOA2s yet. Hopefully this is your week.

My fiance received her passport with her visa by mail in the Philippines yesterday.

also purchased a ticket for her yesterday. Her POE is Nov26. Flying back to the Philippines during thanksgiving weekend to pick her up, will only be in the Philippines for 25 hours.

I had a friend who took a 30 plus hour one way trip to the Philippines and was amazed as she stayed only 3 days.

25 hours LOL I can't imagine.

My head would be spinning.

Great that you are picking her up though.

That does make for a long "day"!!!  I just got back from Manila and this time I decided to go back to work the next day!  It was a last minute trip just to see Rose and the kids.  I am hurting as the jet lag coming back to Chicago is terrible.  I never really had an issue going to Manila but coming back hurts!

I have already booked another trip for early December and I will go pick them all up once they receive their visas (Jan?  Feb?  March???).  That may be a short trip because I have limited time off and I want a good week or so with them when they get to the states to help them acclimate.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

You will be bringing her back? That's a long haul from Florida to PH if you have to do it twice, or scary for her doing it once by herself.

I'm flying next month to pick my R up. My total time there will be less than 48 hours.

Finally done.

OH YES!!!  United and Asiana!!!  I already have some perks!  Chicago is United's hub so tickets are very reasonable.  I will probably make Mileage Plus Silver status this year.

Thank you for the good wishes, aren't you sweet? But I'm still at home, getting paperwork ready for the interview on Thursday. I'll be flying to Madrid that same day in the morning, since I was lucky to find quite a cheap round trip ticket using my miles from visiting Gary in the US these past years :)

Wow, 48hrs,,,,, Hardly time to check in and out of a hotel.  But worth it

We interview on the 6th.  Actually, hoping I catch a really compassionate CO that offers a speedy VOH so I can take her away with me on the return flight.  I'll be staying in Ph for a week. If that doesn't work out, then it looks like she will fly alone.  Her choice as she had the option of accompany her at interview or accompany her on POE.  She hands down chose INTERVIEW!  So in 2 weeks I fly over there again.  She's a real bright, sharp woman with lot's of savvy, so I'm not worried for her traveling alone, just that POE in DFW or SFO or JFK are all very far away and I won't be there with her for the entry.  But yes, It is a long way anyway you go - totally halfway around the world :D
