Saw NOA2 hard copy today, NOA2 is dated 13th of Sept while the tracker case says we were approved on the 14th... 

But wanted to ask, I think sb asked about it but I can't find it, on NOA2 it says ''the above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed consulate. Please contact the consulate with any questions about visa issuance'' - I am surprised because there's nothing about NVC there

Is it normal? Can somebody confirm that it  was like that for them, too? and one can still call NVC after a week, or two?

Thank you for the good wishes, aren't you sweet? But I'm still at home, getting paperwork ready for the interview on Thursday. I'll be flying to Madrid that same day in the morning, since I was lucky to find quite a cheap round trip ticket using my miles from visiting Gary in the US these past years

My NOA2 said the case was being sent to the NVC, but, still, I remember some other people saying they got that on their notifications, and the process was just standard for them calling the NVC, so don't worry about it

When you call, do you demand to speak with a Tier 2 person?  Have you contacted your US Senator?  Sorry, never know if this is the Petitioner or the Beneficiary.

My fiance received her passport with her visa by mail in the Philippines yesterday.

also purchased a ticket for her yesterday. Her POE is Nov26. Flying back to the Philippines during thanksgiving weekend to pick her up, will only be in the Philippines for 25 hours.

No worries!

I'm beneficiary. My fiance got through to a tier 2 once and was refused the other times he tried. The one we spoke to was VERY rude and told us to wait until we are outside of the 6 month period (Oct 11th) before calling again. My fiance doesn't want to harm our case so is cautious to take any further action.

If we (he) did write a letter, I wouldn't be sure what to say, as their website does say it's a 6 month timeframe (sorry if i'm being dim)

Thanks! I just got back to the US yesterday and back to work today. Jetlagged still.

 

but yeah, my parents weren't too happy when I bought another ticket home to pick her up and said I could have used those funds toward the reception. but I want my bride-to-be to be safe

You are not being dim.  I would suggest that he contact Senator Dianne Feinstein; https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/contact, at whichever office of hers is closest to him.  Your profile says he is CA, so that is why I picked her.  She is the Ranking Senator in CA.  They have someone that handles these things, It has been way to long.  They will put in a Congressional Review.  Make sure he lets them know that he wants to have it resolved.  Hope this helps get you approval of the NOA2.  Good Luck.

Sorry, I am curious, you said that she has VOH, but you are not bringing her here until Nov?  Why wait so long?  I admit, I agree with wanting her safe, but I want her here ASAP

lol, Iike any other petitioner wanting their fiance here ASAP. I too want her here ASAP but she wants to spend her remaining time before our wedding with her family, which took me a while to understand but I just accepted it.

LOL, yeah I get all that.  I am hoping to spend some time with Monica in the Philippines and visit some areas and her family.  Then fly back here together.
