Congratulations! :jest: I'm off to bed now, but tell Celia I'm very happy for you two :D

And yep, you can start calling NVC in a week if you want to try your luck, but the average for them to receive your case is more around the two weeks mark :)

Thanks Estibaliz! I will let her know but I'm sure she will write you tomorrow.  She said she wants to tell you haha. Sooooo act surprised =).

We received our RFE today and that's what written. He's not sure he's still has the airplane stubs, but he definitely still has the passport stamps. What do you suggest we do? Send only that? Wouldn't be too less?

We had already sent statements like those they suggested, but we only sent 5 pictures. Should we send more pictures, the engagement ring and wedding dress receipts?

I had the same RFE.  They want to know that you had met in the last 2 years.  I would see if he can contact the airlines and try to get copies of his flight receipt.  I had to provide my military orders showing where i went.  I dont think more pictures will help.  Maybe bank statements of charges that were in Brazil.

It's a pain in the butt for sure.

Did he not send in an photocopy of the entire passport?

That is the number one proof of travel as it is a government document that is stamped and signed by government officials.

Photos can be photoshopped or taken more than 2 years prior to the filing.

It says right there what else you can send.

You should write a statement and sign it giving details of and dates of your meeting.

Congrats.

Your approval should be coming soon after you reply.

lol yea that's us 😊 You should get yours soon as well!

Thank you 😊😊 I'll try, I have to be up at 5:50 tomorrow but now I'm wide awake 🙈 We just booked my flight to visit him in NY in 3 weeks so hopefully I still can.

Thank you! I hope so too! We've all been waiting long enough! 😊

Oh your 2 are just 2 cases apart. Great chance your files are with same adjudicator.

Keep heart, brother. I know that sounds easy to say for someone who is past that hump but I know exactly where you're coming from. You're right in the same date range as me and have been here since early in the process so it's easy to feel left behind. I know because I was feeling it too. I had to abstain from the forums over several weeks because it wasn't helping my desperation. But this too shall pass. I'm following you so I know when it happens. I can't wait for yours to be the next case headed for NVC!

Thank you so much!  The great people here are one of the reasons that I've kept the faith that our time will come.  It's hard, but you along with others have walked that path before me, and have given me a great deal of hope.  Thanks for the encouragement!
