not really out of normal..... yet.  I think they get sent form CSC rather capriciously.

Are you calling using option 7 then calling again using option 5?

2 calls every other day is best because once they get it, it won't go anywhere for a few days anyway.

How do you do that when you call? Because I only press option 1 for english and 2 :(

Hi guys,

my NOA2 was approved on August 22, 2017 and I have been calling NVC everyday since then and they are still saying they have not received my case. I'm really starting to get worried at this point. Any insight would be appreciated.

Have you tried calling uscis to check if they already forwarded it to them. :(

London doctor wasn't that knowledgeable or caring apparently.

And that sucks. I don't know if maybe the Embassy can give them a shake about this? I know the one in Spain did with the clinic here sometime ago, when they were refusing to fill in the DS3025 for the vaccines, saying that wasn't really required for K1's but optional. Now they always ask you if you want to get that or do it in the States and it's included in the exam.

What's their point in not giving away the results anyway? I mean, what do they expect to happen or for your fiance to do regarding the high BP to finally release them?

I've been only calling option 7 since that was the non immigrant visa line. All they say is they can't look into anything till its 6 weeks... I'll try option 5 Monday morning.

Try the immigrant line, then option 7 or 5 for the electronic cases. If that doesn't work, maybe calling USCIS as suggested, to know if the case has already been sent, is the thing to do.

Good luck!

Did he not bring his medical history at all? Only reason I'm asking is because my GP is being a pain in the a... getting back to me after I asked about my patient care history and I know Knightsbridge says they require this but also read other people saying it's not a big deal..

If he did he didn't say anything to me. He hates having anything to do with the GP as appointments are so far out or you have to line up outside. So I believe he'd have said something if he had to deal with them.

I hope readers of this forum don't think our NHS is that bad. It's underfunded but not that bad!

No one queues outside their GPs office, they sit in a waiting room. They may queue on the phone to get an appointment, but most book their own appointments online now. If there was a line outside then the national press would be all over this. If this is the case for your F, then I suggest he contacts his local MP

All GP's / Doctors have a certain knowledge to qualify, They refer to specialists just like the US doctors would. With regards to a high BP at the time, perhaps he could visit his local GP and get more readings when he's a little more relaxed? My NHS GP has a blood pressure monitor behind a screen in their waiting room area.

The Data Protection Act 1998, states that patients have a right to access their medical records upon request.

The patient care summary is a requirement and can be printed off yourself if you have a login to your GP's website, Otherwise receptionists / administrators should have this access too. It doesn't require making a doctors appointment.

I hope all works out for your F, @tcovington.

UK filers, do let me know if I can assist with navigation of the UK system. However, there is a lot of useful information regarding the UK medical at Knightsbridge within the United Kingdom forum here on VJ

I'm actually usually really happy with the NHS however I just feel like lately it's been really hard getting anywhere. I can actually book online appointments through the patient access app, however I have no access to my medical history here, it only says I need to request this with my GP which I have. I actually went in to them to talk to them and the receptionist said I need to request my patient care history in writing and that there was only one person in the entire surgery who could give this to me. I've sent 3 emails now and called and got nothing.. do you think I should go in again and demand it become available online? Do you know if it can be made available on patient access and would a print off be good enough for Knightsbridge?

I use PatientAccess too. Login from the desktop not the app (I've not used the app) I got my summary from the desktop site.

Login, go to welcome page and then click on medical records - 3rd section down

Call Knightsbridge and check that the patient access summary is good enough,. Personally, I'm going to be printing out the summary from patient access and then taking that to my GP and getting the receptionist to stamp it with their official surgery stamp.

Ohh I see: why not 2 :P just really curious and whats with 7 or 5 :P

I don't remember the options in the menu now to know what was two, but for years people have been using 7 (general inquiries) according to VJ. 5 started to be an option around May, I think it was, when they started implementing the electronic system.

Actually, first time we called we tried 5, and the guy there specifically told us to press 7 next time, since they only deal with electronic cases and apparently Spain doesn't have them.

Since I've been quoted here :) I would like to say I was specifically talking about Knightsbridge and not the NHS on being difficult or a bit ridiculous on the way they are acting. Nothing to say about the public system, that I'm sure is a good one, same as ours.

My complaint, if so, is regarding these private clinics we are forced to use and pay, which they think they can appropriate more decisión power than they probably should

Of course they have to do their work, but to certain extent.

I agree! I don't know about decision power. They should've given @tcovington's F a little more direction on what to do next / what will happen next - for his own health, let alone how it affects their K1 process. (Hence my DPA 1998 comment regarding access to results)
