Did he not bring his medical history at all? Only reason I'm asking is because my GP is being a pain in the a... getting back to me after I asked about my patient care history and I know Knightsbridge says they require this but also read other people saying it's not a big deal..

If he did he didn't say anything to me. He hates having anything to do with the GP as appointments are so far out or you have to line up outside. So I believe he'd have said something if he had to deal with them.

Hi guys,

my NOA2 was approved on August 22, 2017 and I have been calling NVC everyday since then and they are still saying they have not received my case. I'm really starting to get worried at this point. Any insight would be appreciated.

not really out of normal..... yet.  I think they get sent form CSC rather capriciously.

Are you calling using option 7 then calling again using option 5?

2 calls every other day is best because once they get it, it won't go anywhere for a few days anyway.

I've been only calling option 7 since that was the non immigrant visa line. All they say is they can't look into anything till its 6 weeks... I'll try option 5 Monday morning.

GOOD MORNING FOLKS

On one note....

@Estibaliz A happy belated birthday to Gary! (Better late than never, right:P)

Third page of the notebook....

Still waiting... NOA1 April 27th.

I submitted a case inquiry and it had been more than 30 days and I hadn't received a response yet so I emailed the Texas service center about my case status.

This was their response:

"Greetings,

We have received your inquiry and researched the status of your case. Our system indicates that the required background investigation for your pending application is still open. We cannot move forward with your case until the background investigation is completed.

These background checks are required to be completed on all applicants who apply for the immigration benefit you are seeking. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the background checks are complete.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

I'm on the border with May but I consider myself an Aprilite still :D

Day 141 now and waiting! I'm really hoping it comes soon but I also hope nobody who filed before us gets left behind. I live pretty near the CSC so every now and then I get an urge to march in there and kick their butts into gear :P

Anyone who has been to knightsbridge doctors for medical in London, it asks on the email once booked to bring along summery of medical history but not full medical records.. so i'm confused on what to bring regarding this.. I have got from the doctors lists of vaccines i've had so that's not a problem and i've also asked for a medical history which they printed off for me, I just don't know if i'm taking the correct thing, does anyone know?

We haven't had our medical yet (let alone NOA2), but from what I've seen and read any sort of medical summary your GP gives you should be good. If the summary you got from them has your basic history and information I sincerely hope the people at the medical wouldn't give you any trouble!

150 plan is the "call USCIS once per week"

170 plan is contact congress/senator and call twice a week :protest:

180 plan is call every day twice a day:angry::whistle::angry:

Well you have more patience than me! We're on day 141 and I've already started calling weekly :jest:

@JeniandMatt Happy weekend my dear friend..honestly, I'd proudly say I gained a lifetime friend here on VJ and it's Jeni..Jeni is my cheerleder..I have struggles in life being an empath because I could absorb other people's feelings..with Jeni, the wait is becoming lighter, she's a very positive woman and a friend for keeps..Chris is done with his MRI to know how bad the tear is in his bicep tendon and we won't know results til' next week..I would honestly say I won't know what to do if ever it would require surgery but one thing is for sure I wanna' be there as soon as I can to take care of my Baby..

my personal opinion , Ever since we got a new president, California, has been playing games with the new president. i know last year the process took NO LONGER than 60 days.. Now since January 1st it has tripled, coincidence? i think not... i am sure i will catch flap on here for saying this, but look at last yeas cases compared to now...Then if you can give me another possibility of the dramatic time increase, i may believe you...

So you think CSC is playing AGAINST the President? Yeah I think not. Slowing down the process to bring immigrants here or adjust the status of those who are already here would not be against what the President wants, quite the opposite.  The fees also went up for 20% on average for nearly every immigration charge that caused many to file request before change took place which also created the back log.

The fear of possible major changes in Immigrations laws by the President including DACA certainly has cause a rise in other filings no doubt about it.

The good thing is there are very few outright denials and in time most all will be approved.

Yes it's the beneficiaries part after the nvc. But you can still help. Since my fiance had better access to computer with a good internet connection he did all the online appointment for me from medical, interview and CFO :jest:. He even wanted to do my ds160 but I told him I will just do that since it will take time to do for the many pages that has to be answered. So all I did was prepare what's needed and then attend:dance:
