Hey Everyone!

Going to go through my medical folder tomorrow (Medical is on Tuesday) at knightsbridge doctors, London.

Can anyone give me a list of everything they took with them? I know I've got the email regarding what to bring, but just

want to double check that I have the correct things and see if there is anything extra that is needed for the day.

I also wanted to ask.. for the embassy meeting, do I need to provide information for how much money I have? Not 100% sure.

Please help.

Thank you!

You checked my case too? how sweet of you and yeah, we know we were approved Sept 1st and our NOA2 came on the mail Sept 7th, and the case still doesnt show ANYTHING, we didnt receive a email neither

its weirdm, but what matters is the NOA2 paper right?

I was curious :) kept checking to see if they were going to update the tracker for you..

My partner got both text and email but he he only signed up for an account with USCIS a few days ago and I was surprised to find out that you could ask for notifications from there ( for text, not sure about email)
curious if there's a correlation... has your partner signed up for an account or not?

Haha yeah I was thinking to do that but who would be the one having to call? The petitioner or the beneficiary?

So while I wait for the NVC to tell me they received the case, I have a question...

It seems like from this point forward the work towards a visa is done by my fiance in the Philippines, and since I'm the sponsor/petitioner my work is pretty much done? She will be making appointments and preparing for the medical and interview?

I'm trying to figure if there's anything else I can do to help.

Thanks.

Hi Everybody...

could not believe it...got the notification from the iphone app today... was with a friend and heard a sound I did not recognize coming from somewhere in a big room... did not even click at first that it came from my phone that was in my bag quite far away from me...

and then some time later I checked my phone and there it was!!! case was approved on the screen...

the date is yesterday's the 14th of September - so exactly 5 months from the received date the 14th of April...

I kept having dark thoughts already - visions of having to wait for 8 months for NOA2 or waiting 7 and getting RFE...

really wish all those who are still waiting could see their NOA2 in the next 2 weeks

to be honest it just feels unreal right now - kind of a shell shock I guess...

Congrats! :jest:

As long as you had provided her with all the documents required your side, yes, you can give yourself a pat on the back and let her do the work :)

Though moral support is always welcome ;)

Congrats! Finally you have reached to the end. Good luck. I have been following you since we are from the same country. I just got approved yesterday.

Thank you and Congratulations for your approval (NOA2).  A day closer!!  I have to say I have found this community (online forum) very helpful and a great way to get helpful first hand information.  Many good helpful people here to share what they know.  If we all try to keep our timeline updated and provide whatever obstacle we encounter as much as possible, it may be useful for all of us - at least for some reasonable comparison - as knowledge base.  (I think we need to do that more often and encourage others to do the same  as there are only few people from Ethiopia who participated and updated their timeline).

I'm not going to lie, I think when I was more frustrated along this process was after NVC while waiting for my Embassy to contact me with the instructions to proceed (actually I did contact them) and specially waiting for them to review my documents and authorise me to book everything. Once you have dates, you feel so much better... And after doing the medical you really feel the end is coming :)

You'll see for yourself! Though things are really really fast for your country, so yay, not much to stress about soon :jest:

I've heard too that for the more popular countries the process might be more lenghty so when it comes to that it shouldn't be too bad since there aren't a lot of people from Romania applying :D
