Am I the only one that feels slightly lost now that we have our NOA2?

I know that I need to keep calling NVC for our case numbers, I know that I need to fill out the DS-160 and I know that I need to book our medicals and interviews. I have all of our documents together, I have the last few jabs booked in. Given notice on my house and job.

Everything else seems really unknown! What else am I missing please VJ gurus?

I think you are doing great! You don't even need to get translations of any documents since you are from a (THE) English spoken country,

The only thing you might consider, maybe, is notarizing some documents like your academic titles so they are good for the States? I don't know, just one different thing I did :)

Wow. That's an impressively low amount of applicants. That's got me interested and now I'll have to do some research this weekend to see if I can find the breakdown by country.

I think I found it on the Uscis website, ill try and get you the link

I'm not so sure I can agree with that statement as far as K-1 visas go.  Of course things change and depending on your embassy to a lesser or greater degree.  But nothing has been put in place over the last year that is a real game changer.

I was speaking of my Embassy really. And not that in depth either. I just meant fees, paperwork etc.

Hi ! you can get I-134 of cource, and tax return.... we had all those ready after NOA1, ...beneficiary can get all Police Certificates u need, from your country and from countries you lived  more than 1 year from u 16 y.o, with all names you used.....

just you have to know about the validity of every certificate, so that the last date in it was not too old for the consulate.

you can fill DS-160 form, just maybe later .... need to save filled form on u computer, because on the  website of consulate it may be stored only 30 days.

and all vaccinations for your age can be done before medical exam, also against flu, from 1 October flu season. so beneficiary can get it from now...

Goodluck !

yeah, thanks alot... so now we started collected I-134 documents...and we are also looking forward towards Police Certificates

But i am not very clear vaccinations procedure!...i mean how can i even get vaccinations without Doctors recommendations??

Also how much time on an average it takes to collect all the required documents for Form I-134??

Does your Embassy require that document as part of the visa proceeding? Asking because I know some countries do. If not, and his dad is ok with it, then I don't think it should cause any problem, but of course you can always get it notarise to be safe or just for your peace of mind.

Sorry, not something I'm really familiar with... :)

It's the same when you check the US Embassy website here, in Spain. The information there also mentions the DS260 and i864, probably because is generic for all the K visas, including the spousal ones.

However, when I got the instructions (packet 3) it does state to use the DS160 and i134, so don't worry and go ahead with the right documents for a K1 Fiancé Visa :)

The humourous part for me is it is literally only the k1 visa section they are showing this. I guess it is all old information they never updated. Just funny to catch the flaw.

Plus side Informed Delivery shows the RFE coming in today. Hoping my lawyer also gets it today so he emails me the contents. I don't get home until nearly midnight tonight and want to know sooner.

it depends on the type of your employment, employer if you hand so on ...
We have a lawyer and done everything, ...as far as I remember, it took several days, and then also sending to Russia, 10 days, - because there must  an original signature in financial documents
all these documents represent an impressive and heavy stack of paper

about vaccinations - you should go to see your doctor and ask about your medical history, or ask him to make a copy, with all records of all vaccinations you have done before and say him that u need all vaccinations for u age done before medical, it will be cheapier for you before .Doctor will check you and let u to get vaccination if u need .

The only thing I'm majorly worried about is the custody agreement I have with my son's Dad is signed by both of us and he is fine with the move but it doesn't have witness signatures and hasn't been notarised.

If you don't think your sons dad is going to cause any drama then that should be fine.. Just be aware.. and I've learned this the hard way.. that any agreement that have not gone trough court won't be legally binding. Since you both have signed it and he's agreed you should have a pretty strong case even if he changes his mind. But I had to go through court to get it legally binding just in case my sons dad ever were to change his mind.
