So when you receive RFE ,they sent you an envelope to send back RFE documents .Now my question is if you send that documents in that envelope then how you can track that envelope or can we send that envelope with supporting docs inside USPS priority mail envelope and send it to them.

Are you saying you got an RFE?  I don't recall getting an envelope.  I sent it back by USPS priority mail.

Yes, my fiance called them couple of times and keeps saying the same thing, saying our case is still under processing and it still showing "case receive" blah blah blah.. anyway, me and my fiance decided to give it another month of wait, decided to stop calling because we were afraid that we might get them annoyed.. plus my fiance works during the day and he would get super busy at work and would hardly able to make the call, because for sure he can't call USCIS at night.. Thanks for the reply by the way, really appreciated it..:)

hello, I have a question, is it ok for me (the beneficiary) to call the USCIS to find out about our petition? I was really thinking of calling them or emailing (though I will probably only get a robot reply) in my fiance's behalf. My fiance works during the day as a Maintenance Mechanic in a plating company so he tends to be very busy and this makes him hard to make a call.. when he tried calling, he was put on hold for like an hour but then he have to cut the call because he have to work again.. so that is why I was thinking of calling the USCIS while he's at work..

I would have came on here sooner to let everyone know how his medical went, but I've been busy filling out wedding invitations. His medical was at the Anzac Square Medical Center, and the appointment was for 10:45am. He got there at 10:28am. He wrote me at 10:32am letting me know he was checking in. At 10:39am, he started doing the urine sample. He had to sit for a little while and wrote me a message at 10:57am to tell me that he was waiting for the doctor, and was called in at 11am. At 11:33am he wrote me back saying he was done with the doctor. He had to get a flu shot, the doctor asked him some questions, and the doctor told him so far everything looks good, he looks healthy. They didn't check him for cuts (he had a cut from a long time ago). He showed the doctor his signed off paper from Peter Watt (the psychiatrist he was seeing earlier this year), and the doctor seemed satisfied with everything from what my fiancee said, and then sent him to pathology. At 11:55 he wrote me another message saying that pathology took him straight in. He got blood and another urine sample done. They then told him he had to get a chest x-ray next, so they sent him to another building (Citi Scan) for that. He messaged me at 12:28 letting me know he was at Citi Scan getting the chest x-ray. He wrote me another message at 12:54 letting me know his medical was finished and completed.

So, he did his medical from 10:28am - 12:54pm, and they told him they were mailing his large express post envelope back to him for him to take the results of his medical to his interview.

All in all, the medical didn't last very long. It's complete. :) He said the staff was nice and from what he can see, everything went smooth.

Now, we have his interview on the 26th at 8:45 am, so he's taking Train Link again and leaving the 24th, just in case of delays using public transportation. He'll get in Sydney on the 24th around 8pm, spend the 25th preparing everything one last time, then his interview's on the 26th, and he's leaving Sydney on the 27th. It was hard to find a cheap hotel for the 3 nights he's gonna stay in Sydney, but after browsing for a few hours I found a reasonable one with wifi so me and him can talk as much as possible.

So, that's our update. Hope everyone else is getting through this process smoothly. Just the interview now, which by the way, I'm going crazyyyyy waiting for it. I swear, it's like since we scheduled the interview it's going slow. Probably because I really cannot wait for him to go to it.

On the bright side, at least the medical is COMPLETE!!!! :)

Oh, and he's up to date on all his vaccinations for America, so no worries with that during AOS. He's gonna leave within the 1st or 2nd week once he receives his visa in the post.

It sucks right? Anything I find is from years ago, and things have changed drastically in the visa world since then. My Embassy is known to have some tough CO's too so it wouldve been good to have some info before hand, but I guess im on my P's & Q's from here on out lol

I'm not so sure I can agree with that statement as far as K-1 visas go.  Of course things change and depending on your embassy to a lesser or greater degree.  But nothing has been put in place over the last year that is a real game changer.

Our case is now "Ready" status starting this morning (Thursday).  Happy 😊 & Excited.

What's interesting is that the DHL tracking (that you use to track the package once it is in transit) has a planned delivery for "By End of day Friday" . In other words, DHL is on its way to deliver the package to the embassy but the NVC tracker shows "Ready" before the physical delivery of the packages (about a day ahead).  (Just adding more info to the knowledge base for curious people  who loves details 😀😀)

Question: Can my fiancé now submit  the DS-160 and schedule the interview or may be she need to wait a little bit for the letter (packets) from the embassy? I did not get any communication from NVC as of today.

Congrats! Finally you have reached to the end. Good luck. I have been following you since we are from the same country. I just got approved yesterday.

hi to all!

Can someone please tell me that can we fill Form DS-160 and Form I-134 before getting any notice from USCIS to start??

Also, can i get police clarification report before the case is submitted in NVC??

My NOA2 was approved on September 5th and still havent got anything....i mean mail or email!

I am asking this because as when we fill some form we get date mentioned on it... so i was thinking will be right to collect and fill documents before any orders from USCIS??

Hi ! you can get I-134 of cource, and tax return.... we had all those ready after NOA1, ...beneficiary can get all Police Certificates u need, from your country and from countries you lived  more than 1 year from u 16 y.o, with all names you used.....

just you have to know about the validity of every certificate, so that the last date in it was not too old for the consulate.

you can fill DS-160 form, just maybe later .... need to save filled form on u computer, because on the  website of consulate it may be stored only 30 days.

and all vaccinations for your age can be done before medical exam, also against flu, from 1 October flu season. so beneficiary can get it from now...

Goodluck !
