For anyone interested....

Today marks 9 days since the NOA2 on my case, and I called NVC and they still haven't received it. Seems like 10 days is somewhat typical based on some experiences I've seen here.

Hoping it will be tomorrow, to start the weekend off right. And then my fiance in the Philippines can start making plans for medical and interview I suppose.

Today is my 9th day too! Please update us when you get the NVC

I tried calling they said they don't have it yet and can take up to 6 weeks.

:(

I dont want to be annoying and be the one that calls everyday

Plus I get really nervous when I have to talk in the phone, I dont know why but my accent emphatizes when I get nervous so not a good combo!

We got approved Sept 1st USCIS tracker still doesnt show any info, we received my NOA2 hardcopy. I think I will wait till monday or if I get brave tomorrow!

Same here, I have notice date of 09/02 but wasn't updated on tracker till 09/05 with a 09/05 date approval date. NVC was receiving some 8/31 noa2's yesterday so they might be doing 09/01 today and 09/02 on Friday.Waiting to see if any 09/01 people get received today. I saw there were a lot about 9 total.

Well headed back home tomorrow. RFE that was mailed Monday hasn't made it to the lawyer or my house yet. Hoping it arrives tomorrow so that I can deal with everything on Saturday and get it back in the mail. Want her back before Thanksgiving if at all possible. Nervous now because I have no idea how fast the Nepal Embassy really is.

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is feeling okay atleast esp. those who are tired of waiting. Please don't give up. I always pray for everyone.

We already waited this far. just extend a little more patience and you should have this blessing soon.

Quick question for my friend @fishereb anyone knows a checklist for PERU interview?

Thank you!

In a sense yes.  They just send the file through like email, but not.  So it takes no time at all for it to get from place to place.  Remember, they scan every page of the packet when it comes into them in the beginning.  The person assigned to your case at USCIS does work on the hard copy of the case because they make little check marks on the form (I know that because of the RFE that we got).

@KeriAn

Yup the embassy sent my fiancee a PDF of our I-129F and the 2 pages about how we met as part of the Packet 3. It had a few check marks and comments on it. I noticed they hand wrote in the A number (probably USCIS worker) and the NVC number (must've been NVC worker).

Ah ok. It'll be interesting to see what you get. They just gave us an email with some links, instructions, required docs, and the I-129F as PDF, and requested you email them back to get interview appt. Jakarta doesn't need anything prior to the interview.

Received Packet 3 yesterday, responded today saying all documents are ready to go. Embassy emailed back with Interview date of Oct. 4 and some instructions about picking up passport and what not, so I guess we got Packet 4 already??? Jakarta doesn't need anything prior to interview luckily.
