For anyone interested....

 

Today marks 9 days since the NOA2 on my case, and I called NVC and they still haven't received it. Seems like 10 days is somewhat typical based on some experiences I've seen here. 

 

Hoping it will be tomorrow, to start the weekend off right. And then my fiance in the Philippines can start making plans for medical and interview I suppose.

For what I've seen average is more like in the 13-15 days mark, but keep trying, you might get a nice surprise tomorrow evening, since it's not unheard of either

Wow, so much for my arithmetic. Actually yours was one case I was looking at. NOA2 on the 10th, NVC  on the 24th. 

 

And of course, 24 - 10 = 10. Geeez.

Did you meet all of the requirements for filing? 

1) Your fiancé is a US citizen.

2) You've met within the past two years.

3) Both of you are free and legally able to get married within 90 days of arrival.

 

It is very difficult to have your petition denied.  Usually they will issue an RFE before they deny to try and get more evidence or clarification.

 

Do you know what the situation could be?  Did you ever have any type of formal engagement ceremony?

I just received this notification so far and waiting for hard copy: On September 11, 2017, we denied your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

I am a green card holder, came by SIV especial Immigrant visa from Afghanistan, my fiance she is from India. 

and we met just 7 months ago in India, since our families are far we didn't take engagement ceremony.  

and we are legally able to marry. 

I don't know what is the situation and what is wrong!

Well here is your answer.

Sadly Fiancee visa's are only for US Citizens.

You will have to marry and do Spousal Visa CR-1.

You are not the first who got the same situation. Just make a plan and move on it. It works ! 

It really breaks my heart long time wait and then got denied. I didn't received the reason why they denied my case and options yet.

Yeah that's about the 3rd time today someone posted that their Lawyer is not doing their job.

Highlight the part about US Citizens only and tell her she needs to pay you back for her services as well as the petition fee although I'm sure money is the least of your concerns right now.

I'm so sorry your lawyer lied to you or is just totally incompetent.

Hello I'm doing okay! Yep I just recently downloaded it for NVC purposes only

It's free to use and you can call them using that.

as per my checking ranging 10-14 days  excluded weekends
