For what I've seen average is more like in the 13-15 days mark, but keep trying, you might get a nice surprise tomorrow evening, since it's not unheard of either :)

Good luck!

And of course, 24 - 10 = 10. Geeez.

Are you saying that your petition was denied?  When you get your paper, let us know the reason!

Your situation will determine what needs to happen next.

Did you meet all of the requirements for filing?

1) Your fiancé is a US citizen.

2) You've met within the past two years.

3) Both of you are free and legally able to get married within 90 days of arrival.

It is very difficult to have your petition denied.  Usually they will issue an RFE before they deny to try and get more evidence or clarification.

Do you know what the situation could be?  Did you ever have any type of formal engagement ceremony?

I just received this notification so far and waiting for hard copy: On September 11, 2017, we denied your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice.

I am a green card holder, came by SIV especial Immigrant visa from Afghanistan, my fiance she is from India.

and we met just 7 months ago in India, since our families are far we didn't take engagement ceremony. :(

and we are legally able to marry.

I don't know what is the situation and what is wrong!

Thanks for the guidance

AJ

Well here is your answer.

Sadly Fiancee visa's are only for US Citizens.

You will have to marry and do Spousal Visa CR-1.

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Item Numbers 40.a. - 42.c. Your Citizenship Information. Select the box that describes how you obtained your U.S. citizenship. Indicate whether you obtained a Certificate of Naturalization or a Certificate of Citizenship and provide the date and place the document was issued.

Just need to calm down, pull yourself together  and concentrate.

First you need to get an explanation and determine what the failure is based on

Then you need to do everything to exclude the moments that prevented.

And then you need to decide - reapply for a visa K-1 or for a visa  K-3

You are not the first who got the same situation. Just make a plan and move on it. It works !

It really breaks my heart long time wait and then got denied. I didn't received the reason why they denied my case and options yet. :(

Yeah that's about the 3rd time today someone posted that their Lawyer is not doing their job.

You need to print out the instructions

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Highlight the part about US Citizens only and tell her she needs to pay you back for her services as well as the petition fee although I'm sure money is the least of your concerns right now.

I'm so sorry your lawyer lied to you or is just totally incompetent.

How awful, I'm so sorry to hear that :(:( Did you try calling the USCIS to see if they could provide you with an explanation?

It really breaks my heart long time wait and then got denied. In the notice says they sent me the hard denied latter and I didn't received it which is the reason why they denied my case and options.  :(
