Congrats did you get your NVC number from calling yet?

Do your DS-160 if not done already

Hi Stephen, I've been having a similar experience calling USCIS, we're at 149 days and I've started calling once a week. I'm getting the impression they have been told not to give away any other information (probably because they have been getting tons of these calls with all the delays), but I got lucky with someone last week who told me we had our names sent out for background check back in June, so when I called this week I asked why some officers had more information than others and he 'fessed up a bit more, although he wasn't pleasant or nice about it. Sounds like average processing time is now 5 months :/.

No, not yet. I literally found out an hour ago. I think we'll start calling in a week or so.

Doesnt matter, if your Noa was the 2nd it can very well be sitting at NVC, give it a try!

Have you been looking at the tracker often since you sent your response?  If so, did you ever have a different message?  I ask because this is the message that we received after they got our info.  Not sure if it will change to say what yours says... @Keith & Monica, did you ever have the above message or did you have this:

Hope you had an amazing time.  Scotland is one of the place that I want to visit, but haven't yet.  I am sure that Monica and I will visit there though.
