I want it to happen very fast, but I don't have all my ducks in a row here in the states for her to come.  Need to sell my house ASAP.  Cause I want to be with her for the Interview and fly back here with her.  Can't do that if I don't sell the house.

In a sense yes.  They just send the file through like email, but not.  So it takes no time at all for it to get from place to place.  Remember, they scan every page of the packet when it comes into them in the beginning.  The person assigned to your case at USCIS does work on the hard copy of the case because they make little check marks on the form (I know that because of the RFE that we got).

Oh good luck with that hope you can already have a  good buyer so you can finally be with Monica.  Me and Matt also want it fast we could have, our case was ready 19 days from Noa2 but we cannot go that fast too because I still have to work, had to turn in 30 days notice and now was informed had to be 45 (it sucks wanna be with him so much). I only turned in my resignation when we got our Noa2 wish I made it earlier but oh well at least the long wait is over and we can actually look forward to something, and that is spending the holidays with out beloved for sure :jest:.

Guys

Is there any other way to get my NVC number without calling? I called monday and they said my case wasnt even there!

Call again. It's okay to call everyday. Bec movement is usually fast with NVC even of they tell it takes 20 days don't believe lol. You can email them but then they will only reply when your case is ready and not when you have the number.

I want to congratulate all of the people that have gotten their NOA2 in the last week.  Very happy that you have moved to the next stage.  As others have said, this is the part that will move as fast as you want it.  After the long wait at USCIS, this is a piece of cake.  I feel bad for those that have gotten AP at the NVC, hope it gets through that soon.

I am looking for @Chris2870 and @spike198 to get their NOA2 very soon now after the RFE that they had.  I am also looking for @Mike & Tuyen and @LabOz to get theirs, you should be right in that time frame that they are working on.  Good luck.

Looking forward to some good news for these guys too. Prayers sent to all of you 😊

Yes, Monica has a 30 day notice she needs to give as well.  We are waiting for her to give it until the house sells, because that can take 30 days.  Then I will fly there to finish everything up with her and then we will fly back together.  It does suck that you have the 45 days, but you didn't want to give it too soon.  Now hopefully you and Monica will be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.  That will be so exciting.

And that is ok.  I went ahead and emailed them yesterday.  That will just give us the electronic notice.  As for calling, I am waiting until tomorrow morning to call, that should give them the time they need to get it.  If not, then I will call again tomorrow night.  If not then, then I will call Monday morning and so on and so on.  LOL  B-)

The CO asked her:

-What is your fiance's name?

-Where does he live?

-How,when, and where did you two meet?

-What does your fiance do?

-What is his job?

-What is our plan on our wedding

-What date do you plan on getting married?

-Can you show me your pictures with both of you together? preferably with relatives/friends too

-How many times did he come to visit you this year? and how many days did he stay for each stay?

-Last December from when he visited you, how many days did he stay in the Philippines?

-Have you travelled to any other countries? If so how many days did you stay in that country?

-Describe the proposal

And then the CO said "you're good" and told her to pick up a white slip(white slip indicated that she passed) and to go home. lol

Thanks for sharing this info

Finally done.

Awe, thank you!  As you know, it feels awful to be left behind the pack.  It's been 161 days and we feel like we're dead in the water.  Tamar has been the voice of reason in all of this, reminding me to be patient and deal with the process.  But that voice is gone now and he is just as frustrated as me.  It's tough
