So my fiancé just got off the phone with a Tier 2. He asked all the questions, have our case been assigned to officer, are there any notes, have they done name check etc.. basically the lady (who btw was really helpful) said she could not see this info however she said that she would send an enquiry through to the CSC and that they need to give us an update within 15 days. Have anyone else heard of them doing this?

Yes this same thing happened to me, I got a nice lady on tier 2 who said she couldn't see my info and entered a service request inquiry when I was at about 5.5 months waiting. Check your case online logging into your uscis and you should now see the ticket number for the open inquiry in your case history. I was approved 2 days after they did the inquiry so the same thing may happen to you. Check your case history for now and verify they entered a ticket number.

I did the same thing on August 31. So by tomorrow, September 15th I am supposed to hear something. 147 days and nothing yet....

It just seems like the immigration officers are very inconsistant, some people have success receiving more information and some don't. Unfortunately, I'm very unlucky it seems.

I got lucky most of the time. I talked to tier 2 only twice though. First one couldn't tell me much, Second time 3 weeks later told me about the RFE that hadn't mailed yet. The day I talked to him it suddenly mailed out.

Oh jeez. Am I cursed 😕😕😕

Hang in there, it was 3 weeks as of yesterday that we received our NVC number. We just have to be patient, apparently we drew the short straw . . . this sure get depressing though. In a short time our loved ones will be home and the pain of this wait will fade.

That gave me some hope, however I just logged on and it says nothing. Just case received on the 24th 😒 Do you think that means that she didn't put it through properly? I did ask Logan if he got a reference number and he was like no she just said to use our normal case number.
