They told my fiance its in AP...is that normal?

AP is supposed to be random processing there. It's not the norm, but it's not an odd happening either... it sure is annoying and will cause a bit of a delay :(

@Jeff and Alina, @hkiss31 are in the same position.

Rooting for you all, because the closer you are, the harder every hurdle seems and the more frustrating the wait.

I finally found the courage to ask for a Tier 2 rep and I was transferred and the estimated hold time is 199 minutes (as of 4pm)- which is after 6pm (closing time). I'm hoping that somehow someone will call me back tonight, or perhaps if my place is secure in line for the morning. Does anyone have any idea? I feel beyond low today, and things just not easy for us. :/

Why most of the case I've seen late they put it on AP on nvc stage? I wonder what type of BG check they're doing? Are they calling the schools or works or criminal records? of beneficiary? Hahahahaha but you got the case number right and you can track it. When calling them did you follow the date on ur notice (hardcopy) or when the app updates?

My fiancé called 4 hours ago and they said they'd call back in 77 min.. they never called. He is livid at the moment with this whole process now. It's hard but hang in there, it will be our turn soon.

I guess I will have to call back first thing in the morning since they open at 8am. I'm just sick over this, so many delays and disappointments for people. I really expected their estimates to be accurate!

Congratulations! Germany deals with electronic cases, which is why you got an email from the NVC, instead of regular mail, plus that other standard one from the Embassy. No expedite really, just electronic cases are supposed to be faster as if they were expedited.

Ah, good to know! I feel like you are the master of all K-1 visa knowledge :) Thank you!
