Hello! Just ask April filers who are in Philippines - how long did you wait to call NVC

Approval notice date is Sep 2

App got update Sep 5

Thank you!

When do you think I can call?

Hehe

That's up to you, but I would definitely try at least on Friday, before the weekend. You are at day 10 tomorrow already, and even if average lately was 13-15 days, just look how fast was NVC for @AnJ Co, from Philippines too, that got their number like in 6 days :o

Good luck! :)

Hey guys iam the petitioner ive been following along patiently waiting for my Noa2

I was on video chat with my mom and got the app status case changed . Like holy ####### OMG OMG OMG i was exspecting a long delay because you know thats the story of my life. But at 143 days case active i was approved my NOA2 , i sent my application in april 21st . Iam in Massachusetts and myFiance resides in Jamaica. I havent seen him since nov2016 ive been saving money so we can have a good start from he comes here. Its been almost a year since ive seen him!!! Ill be attending his interview with him just because of the long gap inbetween time frames but i put together a solid packet. I didnt get a RFE i decides to do the application on my own because i realized no lawyer is going to put as much effort into this as i would.  And my highest level of education completed was 8th grade. As long as you do your research you can save the money. This is a proud accomplished moment and i can not wait to see my fiance again!!! Omg its been a long road of ups and downs. Moments of thinking maybe its just never going to come,  ive had mutiple people drop out on being our co sponsor . Were still waiting on his aunt to finish the cosponsor paperwork. My anxiety tells me to worry and that what if she our last hope drops out on us too. But the faith in me is like this HAS to work out. God knows hes the man for me :)

Noa1 april 21st

Noa2 sept 11

Goodluck to everyone on this journey

It is a very exciting moment to recieve the information !!! I can only imagine the happienss we will get when his visa is in  hand!!!!

Well done, girl! I saw your approval on the app too. I notice the Jamaica ones because we have a good representation of those around here with @spike198 and @Trinab80, that made me be very fond of US/Jamaica couples :P

Now we can add you too :jest: Congratulations on the approval and the good job, because yours is not the easiest country and Embassy, but I'm sure you'll keep doing great :)

Hi all,

Congrats on more NOA2's, im so happy to see progress for a lot of people.
For those still waiting, I hope yours comes soon. You all deserve to feel that relief by now.

@amishbaby That honeymoon looks amazing! I can't wait to plan mine.

Quick update that may or may not help people: Today I received my letter from the US Embassy In London. It is dated 9/9 (friday) THE DAY the tracker changed from 'in transit' to 'ready'. These cases must be being sent through email. There is just no way something can be mailed in one single day (between transit and ready).

The embassy send you the full copy of I-129F complete with approval stamp and officers workings (check marks etc). There is also a cover letter with LND number and instructions on what to do next. This letter is ideal to take to the medical as proof of LND number etc.

Happy Monday everyone, I hope this week is a good week :star:

Congratulations!!! Thanks for updating on the UK process. Still waiting for our NOA2 but it's good to know the next steps.

my fiance just called and was refused a tier 2. 153 days and i dont know what the hell to do. I'm at the end of my tether and being the beneficiary I can't do anything from my side of things. Just feel so bloody defeated, just being told "wait" or "it's within the timeframe"

Do a "congressional" move and make a congressional petition Melodica256!  At the very least it's empowering to know the vote we place and the person in the senate office that got the job after their campaign promises  works for Us!!

Thank you, what was your application date?

I'm one of those "on the line" filers, hence my participation in both the April and May forums.  My application was sent on April 28, received on May 1, NOA1 received on May 3.

Ok, so I'm in the train back home from my medical. Nothing much to tell really. It took me a bit over two hours, but that was mostly waiting and some walking because you have to go to a clinic that is 1.7kms away for the x rays.

It seems to me the medical is a bit of a joke, sorry. The doctor made me questions to fill the standard form that were mostly just to say no: drugs, tobacco, alcohol, mental diseases, suicidal tendencies...

Then he barely checked my breathing and throat and stomach... And blood pressure that was a bit high. I didn't even have to take off any clothes, except for the shoes for measuring height and weight.

The nurse just drew my blood and copied my vaccines into the official form. I was fine on everything, but they charged me an extra of 35€ to prove I had varicella when I was a kid. So if you can manage to have your doctor making a report saying you already had varicella, then do that, because a scar didn't suffice on my case.

Then x rays and that's it. Well, it's done.

Congrats on this step ! have a good rest then... :)
