Hello. It's my own question that I come up but I would love to share it.

1. Has the case been touched already?

2. If yes, is there an officer assigned to it?

3. Is the background check done? For both petitioner and beneficiary

4. Is the name check done?

5.When can we expect an update from our case?

Those are the questions that we submitted to them. And we got an answer that an officer was assigned and we should get a response on the mail soon. (Didn't state if it's approval or RFE) They respond Aug 29.

We got approved 2nd sep

Our Case status updated sep 5

hardcopy of noa2 sep 6

hope this will help a bit :)

I love this and expected USCIS to be getting many calls from VJ members soon :jest:

Does anyone know what the quickest time period is that someone has gone from NOA2 to POE please?

Probably little bit over a month for countries where you can book everything yourself ASAP without dealing with the Embassy much. After all, you can't control the NVC part and that takes a minimum of 2-3 weeks... Plus visa issued and in hand around another week.

Thinking of beating any record marks? ;)

Haha If I can, I will!

We are determined to get this done ASAP, I'm officially done with waiting :jest: I'm pretty sure that I can't book our medicals and interviews without the case number so as soon as I have that, it's go time!

Do you have any inkling when your POE might be? I saw some people in the March thread who have their visa in hand but aren't leaving until October! They have better patience than we obviously do.

Good for you! Fast as lightning :D

My POE is going to be October 20th if everything goes well and according to plan. My other half is coming October 8th  and then we'll fly together back home.

And now I should be going to bed. Have to get up at 4:50am

I won't be much around tomorrow, but I hope we have a wonderful Monday full of good news around here

Hi good day everyone! As you see I'm in a good mood in this post lol After all the days of waiting and ranting about whatnots. We finally got our NOA2 this morning (but it was a saturday evening in the U.S.). It was approved on September 5th if I'm not mistaken. Thanks for all who gave hope to people like me who waited longer than others. And the people who took a bit of their time to encourage and give us a pat on the back when we were feeling low. You guys are the best 👍👍👍 Goodluck to those people who are still waiting. I can imagine what you're going through but yeah, it's definitely coming. 💪💪💪

This is so cool. A weekend Surprise. Get that DS-160 going if you haven't already.

Congrats

Don't suppose you know if I need to complete a DS-160 form for me and my son please?

Wasn't sure if he was covered under mine or we both need separate forms?

yes a separate DS-160 for both you and your child as well as separate fees.

If your child is under 14 I believe the Medical fee is less than yours however but you will have to check to be sure.

Hi! I just have a question about co-sponsorship. Anybody have any idea about that? Thanks.

It is my understanding that co-sponsors for Manila are not allowed on K-1's but they are for I-864 AOS

Hope this helps

You can pay the fee any time and update this in your UStraveldocs.com account.  When you make the payment to the Russian bank it takes about 24 hours for the payment to update in the "system".

When you have the  mnl number from the nvc. You can pay the Visa fee at BPI. Print the deposit slip or MRV slip from here http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines

Then you can schedule the interview here https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/

And when you have the appointment you can schedule medical here
