Hey guys. Just wondering, when do people usually receives notes about their NOA2? In the morning or evening? Do you think that CSC publishes the approvals as soon as they do approve a case or is it more likely they email every one at the end of their shift? Just curious.

Last year the case tracker would update in the afternoon Cali time for most RFE's and approvals would show up 8 to 9pm Cali time.

That's all out the window now that they are not updating stuff on-line.

Most folks are finding out about NOA 2 from the mail which is sad because the actual approval is several days before this.

Oh well.

All in good time we will all eventually be approved well 90-95% of us. Need to be optimistic and realistic.

See, that's my problem... I have 1 re-entry stamp to US which matches the date my ticket was returning but no passport stamps and I threw away the white receipts along with my used boarding passes for the planes.  UGH!  I had NO idea that I needed to keep that stuff and I'm such a pack rat with things like that!  So I submitted everything else I possibly could.  Itineraries & receipts (which I know don't show proof of travel), an email from the airline stating that the ticket shows "USED" in their system with a print out from the airline, an email from Jamaican "Homeland Security" stating that they don't stamp passports, a letter from my friend who was with me when I met him, bank statements showing debit card usage and withdrawals from Jamaican banks as well as "in air" purchases on the flights (mama needs her vacation cocktails!) as well as bag fees, more photos... PHEW!  I honestly have nothing else other than showing them how my bank account has been drained by constant travel to see him!  ha ha!

Well, like we say here in Miami...... 'No worries, Mon'  I think you did a great job answering the RFE.  I'm convinced :D

Hope it is a fast approval....

Don't worry, I think you and I both will be fine. If they do by chance kick back again, the next step, as I have been told, "is for you both to send in notarized letters explaining that you have both met in person explaining the details of your meeting along with photos of each other with each other," which they already have, but maybe 20 more would satisfy them :jest:

Ha ha!  You're speaking to my heart!  He's Jamaican after all!  Although I never hear him say "Mon".  He does say "Yeah Mon" often when speaking Patois but never when he speaks English :)

Speaking of Miami.  PLEASE be safe down there!  I'm assuming you evacuated??

Not only do I love the language and dialect, I LOVE Jamaican cooking! Jerk Anything is my favorite.  Nothing like a backyard bbq with jerk chicken, and jerk goat with fresh greens and Red Stripe beer to wash it down with!   LOL  It's the simple things in life!  Ann is going to have a culture shock when she arrives :D

Yeah, I'd kinda like to evacuate.  40 hours of a storm is going to suck, but I work in a hospital so I'll be working during the storm.  Also do disaster response and my truck is loaded and ready for after the storm so there's a faster response as soon as it gets safe (er) to get out.  But thanx for the well wishes! We're as careful as possible.

It's a regional holiday here (Asturias Day), but it's been a hectic morning for me. Booked my medical and trip for this coming Monday. Also flights for my interview on September 21st.

Very happy I could finally get my dream dates :)

I called USCIS today and spoke with tier 2 and he said they put INTEND TO DENY remark on my file. I am not sure what that suppose to mean ,i mean i have submitted all evidence including pics, chat details ,call details ,airplane tickets with all other necessary documents . Does anyone have got this like response from USCIS on their case or if somebody knows what t really suppose to mean. Its  really frustrating to hear this after all that long wait.

I would start a new thread on this and try to get some of the experts (the long timers) to comment and give advice.  Intent to Deny is a little south of an RFE - it has some chance of reviving it so you need to be proactive at this time.

Good Luck

Does anyone know if it's risky to visit the US after getting the NOA2 or even after NVC? I might try to go over mid October cos it's my fiancée's birthday and he'll be in NY which is so easy to get to from London and hopefully by mid October we've had our NOA2 come through ... but I'm not sure if it's advisable?

Congratulations. Definitely getting jealous. I called today and they said still in process still processing February 1st etc etc.

I partially wonder if the cases get assigned based on country or something. It certainly seems like the European countries get through faster. If that is the case I am betting the Nepal papers are sitting with a group for India.

We had recently put in a request with the local congress office and they had submittted a enquiry on our case.

Not it sure if that helped speed things!

Also Matt was always told the Feb 1st line but this time when he called he said he wanted to check the status of a congressional enquiry on our case, apparently that got him through to the tier 2 pretty quick!
