Received RFE today! gosh... how long does it take for the mail to reach my Fiancé's mailbox? and how long can this delay our processing? thank you!

Normally is up to a week to get the mail delivered. The delay in the processing can vary a lot. Lucky cases get approved within a week after their reply is received, but other times it can take 2-3 weeks and there's been cases bordering the maximum of 60 days.

Hope yours is an easy fix and quickly approved.

Hello April filers,

we are May filers, did anyone of you here get an update for NOA2?

We haven't heard anything yet and we're hoping it will come soon.

Thank you!

There have been a lot of NOA2s that have been given out. The Lastest I have saw was the 24th, but there are still several throughout the month that are still waiting and even some from march and February. Looks like around days 140-150 is the time of approvals.

Good Luck.

Hi guys,

Has anyone form Recieved Date: 20th April, heard anything back?

Still awaiting to hear back on news.

Thanks,

Sunjay

April 17th still isn't even to probably 30% approval at this point. They are frustratingly slow at the moment.

The frustration strikes again..154 days active still no NOA2.We called USCIS several times and they just keep on assuring us that they didn't forgot us that they're working on our case.😩😩😩

Oh my. I'm at 148th I think. But your noa1 date is the same with my received date. I hope we both get ours soon. Goodluck! I'm rooting for you.

I tried calling again today, I am getting annoyed with the line that the current wait time updates monthly when it shows the processing times for California as of June 30th. If they update on the 15th of each month it should have had the July Information up on August 15th. Here we are on September and it is still showing June as the last update. Frustrating.

Thank you so much :) That is really helpful and have definitely settled my nerves lol

Your name issue is not a problem at all. When you are applying for the Police Record for the UK, you can simply include your ex's surname under "other names used" and it will be searched for in your background check. This will simply produce no criminal convictions. They do not ask you to prove you have used that name before when submitting the police certificate application. So my advice is to include it under "other names used" in your application and it will show up on your PC.

On another note: Can anyone confirm whether the foreign police certificate is for stays over 6 months or whether it is over 1 year. This is for the UK. All the information on the website and the link directed to in packet 3 says 1 year.

Thank you so much! :) so when they say on the ACRO to add information regarding any other names I can just include my divorce decree and do not have to provide a deed poll for any other names?

Well it's entirely up to you if you want to include the divorce decree. In the image attached the part of the form where it asks about other Names used, You can simply type

Yourfirstname EXHUSBANDLASTNAME .... in place of ANNA Otter in the example.

Or however you filled in "other names used" in the i29f. You dont necessarily need to attach the divorce decree but can mention/attach it if that makes you feel comfortable.

LOL, yes I did know that.  I was being a little cagey and sarcastic.  It took them long enough.  My case is the one that makes them approve all the early cases to keep them on track.
