Yay! I saw you booked the interview (stalking your timeline :P). Bad thing there wasn't any closer dates, but at least it's September :)

Lol thank you. I'm so excited. We figure he still won't get his passport until mid October after approval. (Going to claim it) so I'm hoping we get at least 15-20 days together. Or I figure something else out in the mean time. Have you all booked yours yet?

Just the trip that we met and the trip where he proposed.  Honestly, I think that they might have misplaced some of my stuff because we provided everything they say they need now so I'm not sure what the deal is.  Regardless, it is what it is. So I'm reprinting everything and including some additional back up (bank statements showing I withdrew money while there, stuff like that).  I'm also going to write a letter which the RFE letter suggests as an option for additional information, detailing our trip and explaining all of the documents I am sending.

I recommend not sending bank statements because that doesn't show proof of relationship, just shows that you were in Jamaica but not necessarily with him (crazy I know).

Include all of your passport pages (even the bio page and blank pages). If you have any chats from what's app, print a few pages, maybe like a months worth. More pictures as well. When I sent in our packet, I typed up a page and half about our first meeting, the things we did and places we went during our first meeting, I listed the dates on of the other trips. I had pictures, passport stamps, itineraries (even the one when we went to the Bahamas - which is when he proposed), chat logs, and airfare. Granted, I probably seen my fiancé a lot more times than you did prior to sending the petition, but I front-loaded the heck outta my packet!

Although it is only necessary to meet one time for proof of meeting, depending on your adjudicator, they might want to see more proof of outgoing relationship. Remember, this all goes to the JA Embassy so if they proof wasn't sufficient for USCIS, you'll definitely need more for JA Embassy.

They specifically asked for additional proof of meeting in person, not of an ongoing relationship.

Welp, got our rfe today and as I predicted, they wanted proof of meeting in person.  Which, ironically, we already sent.  Photos of us, receipts, airline tickets, the whole nine yards.  Frustrating, needless to say, but I've since visited two more times, so now I can send more photos, more receipts, more airline tickets and more stamps.  Oh well... It's the hand we've been dealt.  It also proves my theory that each of these people process cases differently.  Others have sent the same stuff and have moved on to NOA2.  Oh well... I am just praying there is a quick turnaround on it!

Glad you got your RFE in the mail, and hoping all your proof works its magic this time. Good you were visiting not so long ago :)

Well, I just checked the online status update for my K1 visa and IT WAS APPROVED TODAY!!!

I sent the additional evidence maybe a week ago, and it was approved today and the status was updated. I'm expecting the hardcopy in the mail maybe early next week if it's coming from the west coast.

Funny, I check three times today, and the last time was the charm.

Wow, I'm hoping Keith and Monica, who had almost identical dates to us and also had RFE got the same good news

Congrats! Sure that was fast :jest:

So annoying, receive a reply from the embassy saying they are not ready for our packet 3 and that they are processing our visa. why the f*** did it say ready on the ceac tracker then????

It seems "Ready" just means the case reached the Embassy... So for some countries that actually means you can go and do things. I did get same answer as you first time I inquired about packet 3: "your case hasn't been processed yet".

Maybe keep an eye on the "Case last updated" date, because mine changed today, so I'm hoping that means they are starting to process it.

Sounds good to me :D

I personally can't book anything until the Embassy review all my documents and authorise me to do so. So here I am, waiting again

For those wondering about processing time after they receive your additional evidence (in response to an RFE) for us it was almost exactly 1 week.

And it seems like the person handling the Philippines applications was extra busy on the day after a long Labor Day weekend. Wow, that's impressive.

For me, I haven't yet received an email or text from the tracker app on my phone or regular mail. The only way I found out was I just happened to check the online USCIS status tracker page.

So it seems like the online tracker is working well. It said the case was approved today.
