September 1st today ...

Knowledge Day in Russia, the children went to school and a new school year began ...

I wish everyone the most joyful knowledge ! here is one of my embroideries "The Romantic Walk", I embroidered for 7 months ... it is made on the motives of the Russian artist Leonid Afremov ... according to people, his pictures help get rid of depressions ...

Let the autumn gilding bring you a gold ticket !

So here's today's update from this impatient annoying girl...

PACKET 3 RECEIVED

PACKET 3 SENT

So I gave it a try emailing my Embassy again (after they told me on Wednesday, when the tracker changed to Ready, that the case had yet to be processed), asking very politely if there had been any update on our status before the holiday weekend.

They emailed me back saying they still have to process the case, but sending me the instructions for the next steps (packet 3).

So I confirmed with then that I could send my docs already, without having to wait for them to confirm the processing has been done... and they told me to go ahead :jest:

So I submitted the DS-160 and printed the confirmation page and my cover letter, and rush to the post office... Packet 3 sent :)

Of course, they are closed till Tuesday, so then it's when they should get all my paperwork. I don't know if this is going to save any time, considering the pending processing of our case, but anyway, my part is done for now...

Now a new wait starts: for packet 4 and therefore the authorization to book the interview and medical... :o

LOL... the one thing that stood out for me in your post:  "...annoying girl..."  Sorry, but I'm sure that everyone here will agree that you're probably one of the least annoying people we've ever had the privilege of knowing... :)

@KeriAn Yep, they only interview on Thursdays here, so my dream date would be September 21th or 28th... Not later than October 5th in any case, because the next Thursday is a holiday in Spain and I don't want to wait past mid October. We'll see ;)

@mcs LOL, ask the consular officers how annoying I can be :P

I guess I try to be polite in my persistence and stubbornness, and that makes me less annoying.

Thanks for the nice words!

I have to say, it's kind of easy to notice when people are having a rough time with the waiting, even if they are not around. Of course, there's reason to it  But I'm really glad to see you are a happy Aprilite again

@Tatiana&D.S. Such a masterpiece that embroidery of yours. I think that's a good way to relieve stress and keep yourself busy while navigating through this process. My mom loves cross stitching too... I'm simply too nervy of a girl for anything craft related :P

Hey sorry for spamming the page with questions booking flights to visit america and don't wanna mess things up. Just wondering after the NOA2 is received, how long is that process generally taking is it still a month?

Also once we received the NOA 2 do I need to be in England to do all the other bits other than the interview? I was thinking of taking some of my stuff to America on October 29th. So hopefully they would have received everything by then and noa2 would have been approved?

Thanks again, hope everyone is doing good!

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 10, 2017 and September 15, 2017*.

Moved again... I can believe we were so hopeful it was gonna come through when my man was here first week of August as that was the estimated  timeline then. feel like I'll never catch up to it :(

I booked a trip to visit my family in Scandinavia at the end of the month so will try to focus on the day moving closer to seeing my parents and siblings instead of the NOA2, but I'm starting to feel sad..
