I don't know, since this is country specific. There's a bunch of Canada fillers on the Marchies thread, all of them very nice, so maybe ask them :)

For what I recall right now, you have to wait until the tracker shows your case as ready and then email the Embassy with packet 3.

Hopefully someone like @gob332,@Marzena & Stephen, @pajobra

can help you out a bit :)

Am I able to call the doctor and make an appointment now or do you believe I need to wait for a reply from the embassy?

You have to wait ... unfortunately you need the interview date.

I checked and now the tracker shows that my RFE was mailed today.  That was pretty fast i guess.  They ordered the RFE Monday and sent it Thursday.  I hope that is a sign it is an easy fix haha

Excellent news! Congratulations! :jest:

On this particular case, I think you contacting your senator had nothing to do with your approval. I'm saying this because we've been seeing lately how the date on the hardcopy usually is a day before what the tracker shows... So that would be a day before you contacted the senator :)

In any case, no need to thank me for starting the thread. That was me being a VIP (Very Impatient Person) again, so if it hadn't be me, it would have been anyone else.

Congrats again!

Yeah, timing is interesting on whether or not the Senator's inquiry actually helped me get processed that same day or not. Could be just a coincidence, or it could be that it did help. But I will say, though, that I think it did help with them updating me through email and the case tracker because we've seen that they've been spotty at best when it comes to that.

Okay,... so I just sent my senator a letter which I will follow us tomorrow with a call to their office and a call to USCIS.

Again, despite the maddening waiting game, my fiancé and I are so thrilled to hear all of your approvals go through.  We are so happy for all of you.   And selfishly speaking, your approvals mean we get closer and closer to hearing something about our approval soon!

I remember when I'd wait for weeks to months for that next trip between is-- either him flying here or me flying to Machester.   The weekly countdown was always one of joyful anticipation.

Imagine... his next ticket here is a one way ticket!  (Two way because it's cheaper, lol).

So, with all the prior trips we had wait periods of sometimes MONTHS.  The longest we'd ever been separated was 5 months and that was terrible.  So, when I put this daily waiting in perspective I really have to remember, the next trip here will be his final one.

How much better can life be??

We have the same NOA1 date and my fiance is also from England (a Northerner too)! AND you're also in southern California! I feel like you're my (almost) visa twin!

I'm on the same boat just waiting for the approval and the day we can book the one-way ticket... Wishing the best for all of us so have our finaces close to us sooon!

Lol, you just became my BFF VJ buddy!

Tomorrow is another day and another round of approvals to celebrate as a support group.

And as a bonus, all those people who get approved have a long weekend to celebrate!

Despite the wait there are smatterings of good things to be thankful for, like this holiday.  And sunshine!  Northern England is Dismal right now, lol.

At least I get to wait it out by a sunny pool and he, poor guy, gets rain rain rain.

The best thing of all is I've found the man of my dreams.  I only have to wait a little longer and just have a little more patience for my dreams to come true!

There's more people from the March fillers (and even February and January) in the same situation. Processing times have been quite stretching since July, which makes being left behind even more awful :(

Have you tried calling USCIS to try and talk to a tier 2 for any kind of update on your case? Also some people think reaching to your congressperson or senator can help.

You should really check the March filers thread for more accurate advise from people in your same situation.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for info.
