Hi everyone!

It's so exciting to be seeing so much post-NOA2 progress! But can anyone explain what "In Transit" and "Ready" mean with the NVC, especially if you've already received your new case number?

Thanks!

Met on 15th of October, 2014 - started dating soon after

Became separated by the Atlantic Ocean on the 11th of July, 2015

Lots of Skype, visits, and love later...

Once you have your case number, you can track the status of your visa application on the ceac website. At first it will show "At NVC", while they are finishing their part of the processing. When they send the petition to your country it will show "In Transit". It changes to "Ready" when the package reaches the Embassy.

Hey All! Still no word on RFE, but I am happy to see more approvals rolling in! Congrats to all of you with NOA2 and even those of you who are through NVC ... progress people .. we like progress! :D

So do we know for a fact that notices are happening for all RFE's or is it still hit and miss?

I sure do hope mine comes soon. I'll be about 40k ' up in the air this time two weeks from now heading to Russia and I sure would like to have this RFE wrapped up and back to them before I go, what a relief that would be.

Hello everyone.

Starting the thread for April 2017 filers on K1 Visa, just because I'm too impatient (yep, bad thing here :P) to wait for someone else to do so.

We sent our package 30th March and it's expected to arrive to the PO Box today, 1st April, so I consider us to be April filers, since our case will be touched by USCIS first time in the current month.

Hoping the NOA1 doesn't take too long to have our receipt number, and that we can get the NOA2 by July the latest, seeing how things are moving right now... though I've noticed there's a substantial amount of January filers, which I guess it could affect our wait and timeline.

Crossing fingers and wishing good luck to everyone.

Hi we received the NOA1 on March 17th and haven't heard anything yet. Site states that we're still within processing time. Anxious: (

I don't recall seeing any case of someone receiving an RFE in the mail without it being updated on the tracker/email notification beforehand.

Of course, you never know with this process, but hopefully you'll get an update soon and, even more important, the hardcopy to really know what that's about. One of those cases where we don't like suspense, for sure

There's more people from the March fillers (and even February and January) in the same situation. Processing times have been quite stretching since July, which makes being left behind even more awful :(

Have you tried calling USCIS to try and talk to a tier 2 for any kind of update on your case? Also some people think reaching to your congressperson or senator can help.

You should really check the March filers thread for more accurate advise from people in your same situation.

Good luck!

Yea same! My man have had to calm me down so much in the last week because I've been freaking out about EVERYTHING lol. Like one evening I was convinced that they'd for sure wouldn't approve our petition because of my divorce but now I'm also a bit worried because I had a miscarriage about 5 years ago and was borderline depressed after than, I'm worried that this will show up on the medical report now and they will be like hmmmm you have a history of depression and won't approve my medical. Like his mom had to text me last night and be like please chill out  I'm telling myself that I can probably handle one more month without knowing anything before I go crazy..

Awww,...  hugs to you!  Hang In there! We are all in this together and the piles of applications leading to ours can only get smaller and smaller with each passing day!

I've been watching your timeline and I got a notification this morning that you updated it and saw that your Embassy received your petition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SOOOOOO HAPPPPPYYYY FOR YOU MY FAVORITE APRILITE!!!!

Today, I just reached my 100th day (received date according to the tracker so I guess I'm on my 98th notice date); which made me happy because I know the end is near and I'll be in your shoes soon. Told my fiancé last night, I pray it we at least 30-40 days left. But by my 40th day, I'm gonna start calling them. It just feels good to finally be as close as we are!!!

Love your positivity!  May you receive an early BDAY gift in the form of an NOA2!!

Just call the the NVC at (603) 334-0700.  Hit 1 for English and then 7 for a Representative.  I'd call very early or after 9pm Eastern.  I called twice after 9 pm Eastern.  The first time I waited a minute and found that it wasn't received.  When I called last Friday, there was no waiting, and I got the numbers..

Finally done.
