Long time user of this website, first time I’ve written anything. Great news, NOA1 dated 04-19-17 and NOA2 received today via email 08-30-17. Visa was approved in 133 days I’m happy to say - so glad and wishing everyone else has the same luck!

My fiancee needs to know for her job as well because there is a chance she could get relocated, and that will screw up a lot of things, but she doesn't want to quit before I get the NOA2 in the mail and potentially lose months of pay if for some reason our case ends up getting left behind. Plus by law she has to give 30 days notice of resignation in Indonesia. It's causing us both and her more so a great deal of stress trying to figure out the timing so she knows when to turn in the resignation letter and can hopefully avoid being relocated. I really wish they offered more insight into what is going on with our cases and provided better estimated times. I mean when you think about it, every single beneficiary of an I-129F is uprooting their current life to move to the US and get married in a 90 day window that you find out about at the last second. The least USCIS could do is offer us more updates to help us plan during this process.

What's today's approval count so far today for NOA2 s?  I see only 2 so far?

One tracker app and one email is what I saw.

Just wanted to say Hi and Thank you for being such a big relief in the hardest time of waiting...

It is the first time I am posting here but not the last

Actually I just noticed and changed my NOA1 date to May 1st otherwise I thought it's April 27th according to tracker

Anyway thanks again! Here is our timeline:

I-129F received April 27
NOA1 dated May 01 NOA2 waiting eagerly

So.. I was just wondering if anyone would know the answer to this.. our received date for our application is 24th April... our notice date is 3 May. I've seen people on here having their received date the same as ours or later yet their notice date is earlier than ours. Does this have to do with who the case is assigned to initially? Cos then I kinda feel the VJ tracker would be wrong as our case doesn't stay with one person from the beginning right?

I just called the USCIS for the first time and the Tier 2 person just said- "Call back in 2 weeks once it's been 5 months, your petition isn't ready yet." I tried to be nice with him, and he was a little brusque and actually hung up on me. Do you all think if I call back once it's officially been 5 months, they'll be able to be a bit more helpful?

I think that just has to do with the work load they had that day, so they created the notice one day later or something. It sure has nothing to do with adjudicators, because this first part takes place at the facilities in Texas, before cases are sent to the service center (California).

There's not sure thing when dealing with the people at USCIS. Some of them seems to be nicer or more accommodating than others.

However, being past the 5 months mark puts you in a situation where you should be able to get more information from them, since that used to be the time when you could start an inquiry. So even if that's not the case anymore, because the average processing times stretched lately, you still can argue they told you to call back at that time, so they should give you some answers.
