Day 70 here, 75 since received date.

And yes, the waiting hasn't been that bad for now... But as July is slowly approaching, I think I'm starting to feel more anxious about the whole situation. Well, I feel irritated today, but that has a lot to do with the weather. Heat wave right now that is slowly killing me :P

My estimated for NOA2 is a month from today. Still not easy to be part of the few lucky ones that gets it before or in time with the predictions, so... Yep, I think when we get around 85/90 days, then it will be the start of the worst part of this waiting.

We have the same timeline, so I feel your pain.  I think that once June is over and we are in the month that we'll HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed) hear something, it'll feel a bit more real.  Right now it still feels so far away and so many March folks are still waiting.  Luckily I have a lot of work and travel coming up that will help the time go by faster.  It's those days that I work from home that I feel like I'm just watching the clock!

I think I'll be just as excited as you guys will be once they start on April Filers and I'm a May Filer...lol. Just because I know I have just one more month to go and then HOPEFULLY they start on May as close to the schedule they are keeping.

Not gonna lie, and I know it's early for me to be feeling this way, but I had a anxious/sad moment the other day. Not so much because of the waiting, I just don't like the idea of having the government tell me when I can be with my fiancé; and I don't like the idea of having to expose all my personal business to individuals that get to pass judgment or play decision-maker of my life and happiness when they don't know or really care to know anything about us.

Even though I'm trying to go visit my fiancé sometime next month, it's just really hard. I find myself at times sad or angry. And with my son away for the first few weeks of summer with his father, the lonely is starting to set in. And it's been setting in for my fiancé even though I know he tries his hardest to be strong and positive for me. Just like last night, his positive words of encouragement, although reassuring, it gets hard at times to keep each other up during this process. And maybe if he and I didn't have our bad experience back in Nov. 2016 when he attempted to visit me with his visitor's visa and was denied and visa cancelled, I might not feel so much anxiety so early in our process. I planned for the wait, I guess I haven't really planned so much for allowing someone to tell me how, when and where I can love and be with my fiancé.

Sorry guys, needed to vent. It's hard when my family don't really understand or sometimes, care to understand this whole process. Maybe, I'm just having an "off" few days. :(

You are more than welcome to vent. We all do at some point, because we all have sad days and down moments. This is not an easy process at all. One keeps telling themselves it's just a few more months, that's not too much in the big picture and compared to other waits before... But knowing what's at stake and how your life will change just make things more than slightly different.

And yeah, empathy can work here to help people understand what you are going through, but lots of people don't even try to get that understanding. How you can't know when things will happen. How your life is on hold. How you have to expose so many things about your life and relationship. How you can be judged wrongly. How people assume you are some kind of person just because you are the beneficiary in this process. How people assume your intentions can be different from reality because you are from a certain country (i.e. what happened to Trinab80's fiance), or because you are a girl. How it seems some people talk about the beneficiary as an accessory more than a real person changing all his/her life... Well, I know everyone loves their s.o., but still feels like that sometimes. I guess it's part of human nature, thinking your relationship is real, but maybe other's are just getting scammed or not thinking it through. Thinking that, because as a petitioner they did all the work, every beneficiary's work is just to be cute and worry. I'm sure my fiance would say I'm good at both :P but I also invested a lot of time and work in trying to understand this process and work it so it can be as easily as possible for the both of us. I just plain hate being a burden in any way or form you can imagine.

Oh well I guess I am somehow venting too... And not that I had any related experience. But my point is still the usual... It's hard.

I do feel you there when you say you'll get excited knowing your time will be closer when April starts to see movement. That has happened to me with March fillers (apart from the fact they are really wonderful people there, so it's great to see them happy). But it's kind of bittersweet, because it seems things are not moving as fast or as much as I would like them to. Still seeing a lot of people from February getting approved right now, you start to overthink. I might not be one of the luckiest. It might be longer than expected. I might have left my hopes go high trying to figure out when I could be moving. Yeah, just a bit question mark and a whole emotional rollercoaster.

I guess I just try not to think too much about it and focus on the positives, even if it's as simple as seeing other people happy and knowing it will be us at some point.

Oh well... I'm not even sure what I've typed so far, lol. I think I'll let it here for today :)

One day more. One day less. One day closer.

Everything you said is spot on. Thank you!! :)

@Trinab80 and @Estibaliz I can definitely relate!

Im a June filer so it's only just begun for us.

I feel the same about the whole people judging you. It will be a rollercoaster for us as my fiancé (the petitioner) has a criminal record..most is over 10 plus years old, however he has resent restraining orders due to turning up to public places to see his children and having a non physical argument with the mother of his children. So we're dreading the ride already! But we're also prepared on how to try and overcome it. We have known one another for over 21 years and recently got involved. It's crazy how life turns out. I just can't wait to be with him.

You are more than welcome to vent.  Heck I did just the other day.  This is really hard process and not being with the person that you love makes it even harder.  Let's all pull together and we can make it through.

Hi Everyone!

Just joining the bandwagon

My fiance and I filled the I-129f and got the NOA1 Received date on April 14th

I got an estimate date for July 24-30th, but I'm so impatient and I'm so done with the waiting game. I found this thread and its filled with motivation comments and support

Amazing job guys!

Amazing job guys!

Welcome :)

Don't put too much faith in the estimate date, because that thing keeps going crazy, lol. I started with an estimate for mid July and now I'm almost end of the month 😒

Anyway, I used my notice date there because that's what I read you have to do. If then it turns out it goes by received date (April 6th here), then I'll be happy to get news earlier... But if I have to be one of those left behind, at least I'll start stressing about it later :P

I can't wait until the first person posts on here that they are approved!!  Time is getting close!  This has felt like a really long wait (probably because I've been in this process for so long and this is my second time around).  But when I look back at the last few months, it seems that it's going much faster so I thank God for that!

I'll be so excited when we've finally passed this stage!

You took the words right out of my mouth!  I've said since the beginning how invasive I feel this process is.  It's understandable I guess given how many people come here fraudulently, but seriously?!?!  Screen shots of our text messages and phone calls?  Pictures proving we were together with date and time stamps?!?  I mean, I could go to Vegas this weekend, get drunk and get married and the government doesn't care about that!  Shoot, I don't even need to know anything about the guy, it would be totally legit and legal.  Meanwhile, here we all are, in love, and separated from our loved ones because they need to make sure our relationship is legit.  UGH!
