April 13th here and feeling it TOO...😒

Fingers crossed 🤞and a 🙏 That our caseworker has an awesomely productive day tomorrow with a couple of double shot expressos ☕️ to speed up his/her reaction time and approves ours soon.  I'd even send him/ her a pizza and UberEATS a Starbucks to him/her at this point, lol

I'm on the same boat; April 14th Received date.

Happy for everyone that have received their NOA2, but getting Elphaba green with envy in the good way.

Can't sleep. Flooded with worry and panic. I don't want to pass another day with no news. What if it never comes? Or what if it doesn't come for 8 months..what did I do wrong? Am I screwing up my life? I have spent the past two years here in Peru with Willy and his family. I want to share my home with him- my joys, the people I grew up with, my family, my traditions. I feel empty here in Cusco. I want us to move forward. Does the government hate me? I hope not. Please, I just want news back.

Aww, I know it sucks and we're at the end of our ropes, but sadly nothing we do will magically put it in the mailbox, unless they send it. Just do what I do on bad and stressful days, which ive been having lately. I think about the days ill be with my hunni remembering how psycho I was about having to wait this long and I would be proud cuz I overcame it. It's not permanent, and they can't ignore our cute-picture-filled-love-story  files forever.

Yh I have strange ways lol,but it works.

So....Lets see if I have to throw a mini tantrum tomorrow, Never threw this much tantrums as a kid. Im grown and ranting constantly. Hmm. Love & Frustration I guess lol.

No, you can contact the embassy and get an extensions.  It is not that difficult, and you don't need an attorney for this.

Sorry, but this way works only for interview for a  tourist,  business visa, etc, but the form I-797 issued of USCIS , embassy can not change the validity of the document issued by another institution, nor the termin of validity of the passport, too

No the embassy will extend the visa interview date another 4 months if you cannot have interview within the first 4 months.  Many people have told me this.

Yes that is what I said.  If you cannot make an interview within the first 4 months, you contact the embassy and they will extend it.  Many have done this.

it must be good, .. but I very much doubt ... why there is a period of 4 months in an official document? ... I heard one time, but the case was when there was a surgical operation, and all official confirmation was made out , in accordance with the procedure under difficult circumstances, the petition can be extended for another 4 months, only once.

if you read Russian forums - all try to get to the interview almost on the first day, if not earlier))))) Russians are accustomed to the order with the documents so much that it is even difficult to imagine ... we have a pile of papers, we carry them all life from birth and from time to time we update, our archives work like chocolate factories))))

i had to ask about Police certificates from Ukraine and Moldova, and it's so wonder how much they understand our paperwork ))) ... they work fast, online and send us any document we want ))... i was told from Moldove that I will be issued a Police Certificate in Russian ! )   while ago i decided to get my mother's birth cetificate, marriage certificate, my grandmother's birth certificate... and i got them in 3 weeks , despite that my mom was born 1944 ... all archived records are easily extracted

... no difficulties to prepare documents for the interview...

Our receive date is 24th April and my fiancee called yesterday and nothing. He called twice and spoke with Tier 2 twice and they both said our case have not been touch and that we're still within the timelines, which they by the way say are 3 - 5 months. They did say after that we can request for it to be fast tracked..but I believe that when I see it..
