Thank you! Still a bit until I get to the interview, since my Embassy is kind of slow and strict with previous steps: wait for them to contact you, send them documents, wait for them to received them and authorize you to book the interview, book the medical at least a week prior to that...

Oh well... I'll keep an eye on the tracker to see when it's finally here at least :jest:

Hope your turn comes soon :D

Thank you so much. I hope that too:yes: lol ..we'll see , I get used to waiting:clock: lol

I'm actually convinced that yours will already be in the mail! The wait is so much harder with snail mail being the only way to know. Hang in there and I think you'll have it very soon.

I was the same (refreshing constantly) and now I realise that actually it was pointless because they just don't update the tracker at all. If your status is still received you can be around 90% sure that at least you don't have a RFE. Unfortunately that's all the tracker is good for!

I don't know what appointment times are like. That might be something to ask a U.K. Citizen on the march forum since they are at that point. I haven't got my case number yet so haven't looked what embassy wait times are like. Good luck and I hope your NOA2 is very soon! Maybe even today ^_^

I found the one instance where " Ignorance is Bliss "

Found out Wednesday that a RFE was ordered as y'all know. What really upsets me is they're waiting two weeks to send it off and officially inform me of it. So by the time I receive it , respond and overnight it back and wait another 12+ days to review it, I've lost another month.

Hey everyone,

I don't have the Case Tracker app- I'm in Peru and have a Peruvian phone. Does anyone see my case number on there? WAC1790287313

Just checking....thank you so much.

April 12th, received date :)

But actually the apps scratch the data from the USCIS tracker itself, so you are not going any other info that what that shows.

Hi guys. By the way, I called uscis awhile ago and I was able to talk to someone. She was nice very polite so I was able to answer her questions well. She said the "We are still currently working on Feb cases" spiel but then I asked for a tier 2 officer then she says to wait a moment. So I was on hold. And then a voice prompt suddenly says they couldn't speak to me yet because there were no available officer for me to talk to and said for me to wait 28mins. and they will call back. Then the voice says I can hang up after the msg. And it's been an hour and a half and no calls yet. I don't know what to do. Should I call again later?

You bet!  Give em some more time, like 3 hrs.  Did you enter your phone number to call you back at?  if not, call back now.

BTW, Just talking to Tier 1 doesn't 'ding' your case.  Talking to Tier 2 will place an 'inquiry' on it and they will see you are calling.

How does NVC notify you once they receive file from USCIS?

Call them and ask.  603-3340-0700.  Press 1 for English, and then 7.

I started calling after 11 days from NOA1.  It took 12 days for us.

Call in the evening after 6 pm EST - I always got through within a minute.

Have your USCIS case number ready.  They will look it up.  If they have your case and NVC has assigned visa case number, they will ask for beneficiary's name and birth date.

Then they will give you the NVC case number and other numbers which they will explain to you.  And they are very nice to talk to.

So how do you find out when NVC receives your file and when they have sent it to the embassy ?

Call the NVC to get your case number when they have it.

When you have your case number, go to this website and you can track your case from NVC, in transit, and then ready.

I really hope that it is quicker than this and you receive the RFE soon and a quick turn around time. One thing definitely on your side is the fact you are going through the Philippines. This embassy seems SUPER QUICK compared to most others (including my own). Im rooting for you Chris and Faye!

You know, on a scale of 1 to 10, NVC was a little less friendly (2x I called) than all the times I talked to uscis (like a hundred x I called).  Never once did I get an unfriendly uscis rep (except one time I kept interrupting her script lol - she was like losing her place in the paragraph and having to start over )  I learned they have to say their piece first, then I just ad libbed and got to tier 2 who was always friendly, also.

However, I always had a fear someone was going to be snide with me - kinda cool, never happened.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted anything. Just been keeping busy while I waited for our case number with NVC. We got it on the 3rd week, yesterday, 8/24. I got two emails from the NVC. The first said the NVC is forwarding the petition to the Sydney consulate, and to start the DS-160 application. The second email said Sydney approved my request for expedited processing, which is weird because I never applied for expedited processing so I'm not sure what happened there. I find it strange that I called midday yesterday to ask about my case number on if they have it yet, but they said they still did not have it and to call back in a week. They actually emailed me at 8:04 am with the case number yesterday, and I didn't check my email yesterday so I didn't know. I called them around almost 4pm and they didn't have anything. But I'm so happy now, it feels almost unreal.

Now, just getting my papers finished and having them sent through DHL. Everything is coming together, but nervousness and excitement is at an all time high.

I hope everyone has been getting those NOA2's. If you didn't, when you finally get it everything will go fast from what I can tell. Just stay in the moment and keep yourself busy, I know it's hard but that's how I managed to stay as sane as possible.

I wish you all the best!

He said some embassy's require it for the application. When you fill out the information at UStraveldocs it may ask for it.  Did not need it for Russian embassy.

We have everything done, so just waiting for Embassy ready email.

Guess I was lucky.  I only called twice, and both people were very nice, especially the gentleman that gave me all the information and said congratulations and good luck!
