Thank you, it was really great to see him and spend some quality time together. Hopefully the next time we see one another it will be when he flies up to Canada to drive the truck with all my belongings and small car in tow and of course me in the passenger seat...of the truck that is. 😂  Fingers crossed 🤞 & knock on wood that this will happen soon 😇🙏🏻

Awwww that's really sweet of him to say to you. Nice to know there are other cheeseburgers out there lol 😂

So I read in one of your other posts that you already got your police certificate. I was thinking of getting mine done as well. I live & work right across from where they do them. I was wondering though, how long are they valid for & will we need them for AOS

I am trying to get everything organized and ready for when that glorious day of knowing we are approved and NOA2 is issued. 😃

Cheeseburgers never get old ;)

So I got my police certificate already because the Embassy website here says literally it has to be of "recent day (not older than 1 year)". The lady that issued it to me warned me they normally are valid for 3 months here in Spain, but when I told her what the Embassy says she said then I should be fine no doubt.

Actually, I have just checked Canada's USEM website and they also say the certificate has to be issued within a year prior to the interview :)

I got an additional one in case I needed it for AOS, but I'm 99% sure that's not the case, because I was reading the form instructions the day before and it wasn't listed there. I've seen some people got asked for one later on the process, but I think that must be some exceptions and not the norm.

I hope that helps. Have a great weekend :)

You are so right, cheeseburgers never get old! 😊

Thank you so much for the information, appreciate it!  I will definitely get mine in the next couple of weeks then. One other thing to check off the checklist!

Thank you, hope your weekend is great as well! 😃

Hello everyone.

Starting the thread for April 2017 filers on K1 Visa, just because I'm too impatient (yep, bad thing here :P) to wait for someone else to do so.

We sent our package 30th March and it's expected to arrive to the PO Box today, 1st April, so I consider us to be April filers, since our case will be touched by USCIS first time in the current month.

Hoping the NOA1 doesn't take too long to have our receipt number, and that we can get the NOA2 by July the latest, seeing how things are moving right now... though I've noticed there's a substantial amount of January filers, which I guess it could affect our wait and timeline.

Crossing fingers and wishing good luck to everyone.

Hey I'm new to these forums but thanks for replying on my post, just wondering how did you find out when your NOA2 should be received how do I find that?

Hey, I don't mean to sound stupid but what is the visa timeline? Where do I find that? My case was received April 8th at California service Centre. Thank you :)

Welp, I broke down and booked a trip to see my love in August.  As if it's not expensive enough to travel to another country, but add on the options to change or cancel the flight and it's even worse!  Totally worth it of course!  With that said, who has plans to be at their SO's interview?
