Mines 79632... and I'm still waiting. If they are working on 86, wouldn't that mean they skipped me???

Wow, we are super close!!!  It'll be interesting to see how close our approvals come through.  Fingers crossed it'll be soon!  Keep me updated!

Got it!  So technically, we need the last 5 digits to really see where they are.  Although, obviously it doesn't make much of a difference since the approvals are all over the place :)  Congrats!

Yeah, just when we feel like we have figured things out with USCIS, then another piece of skewed data is thrown in the mix. Thanks and I hope you get your approval very soon.

NOA1 Received date 4-10-17

NOA1 notice date 4-13-17

NOA2 Notice Date 8-16-17 I received it in the mail on 4-21-17, both the tracker app and USCIS website still show "Received 4-10-17"

YEA....

Congrats! We have the same NOA1 received and notice dates and we have no NOA 2 yet😞 called USCIS and got the canned response, they refused to transfer to tier 2. this is literally holding off the plans we made especially the planned date of our wedding..

Hi! Just a random question. Does USCIS conducts background check on beneficiaries too? If yes, what are those? Thank you! 😊

As far as I heard, they make a request to the interpol...this is logical in my opinion

Good news always come when someone is sleeping... Like me this time :P

Congratulations to everyone that got their NOA2's in the mail today (well, yesterday). :jest:

Also we always knew USCIS don't work in strict order, because we've been seeing people being left behind all the time. It doesn't only have to do with adjudicators working at different speed, but with more things that are a mystery and background checks too.

Not everyone's background checks take equally long, and that's probably a reason why cases jump up in queue, because we can't expect for a case that's ready to be waiting for all of the ones before it to be done too. Probably the reason why we got approved before others with a number before us, like @spike198. Sorry it works this way :(

yes.  i plan on accompanying her to the visa interview. it sounds like a big ordeal for her to deal alone.  she  could use some moral support.  Also,  there may be questions i can help answer right there rather than getting the blue slip.

This way,  instead of mailing it and possibly getting lost, i can hand deliver the i-134 and other supporting documents that i need to prepare on my end.  Once i know the interview date i will book my flight.  While i am their, my fiance wants to  have a small engagement party and wants to visit her family in Hue.
