Happy Great American Eclipse Day Aprilites!

Today is the 132nd day since our case was received by USCIS on April 11, 2017. Our case was sent in on April 8th. I didn't receive the NOA1 until April 15th, hence the reason the timeline is filled out as such. I train Math teachers and I have had the privilege to train astronauts and flight controllers at NASA, so when they asked me if we can take a ten minute break to go outside and observe the total solar eclipse; I was all for it. During that break, I checked my email for USPS informed delivery and saw our 'Golden Ticket'. Once I got home today, I called my OH with excitement and opened the letter and read it while we were on video call.  I confirmed that it was our NOA2 Approval Letter. We are so happy to be one step closer to being together as a family.  Our five month old son even began to jump up and down with laughter. I'm thankful that we received our great news on such a special day.  Now I will call this - "Our Great American Approval Eclipse Day!"

NOA2 - April 17, 2017 (No text, No app change (still says received), No email, hardcopy received in the mail on April 21, 2017)

I hope everyone that's waiting will receive their approvals soon and get to be united with loved ones very soon!

Just got home and checked the mail and we got our NOA 2!! I'm so excited that I feel like my heart is about to beat out of my chest. Time line has been updated. It is almost exactly 4 months to the day. Nothing on Case Tracker and Informed Delivery isn't available in my area so, check your mailboxes!!

I realize that we are still in the shallow area of this huge pool but a weight has been lifted. We've broken this process up into little pieces so as not to overwhelm ourselves so now it's time to wade through VJ and find out what to do next. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you guys. We couldn't have gotten this far without VJ!!!

Edited to put in dates:

NOA 1 Received Date 4/11/17

NOA 1 Notice Date 4/15/17

NOA 2 Notice Date 8/17/17

OMG another 4/11 approval. Exactly the same timeline as ours too. You are giving me hope 😊. Congratulations!!!

Ok, I know this has come up before but I can't remember the deal.... My received date is 4/6 but my case number ends in 9626.  How is my case number higher than yours if my received date is before you.  Can someone refresh my memory?  Thanks!! :)

OMG! Those are past our case number. It could only mean there is a good chance they have touched ours too. I really hope they did. And mail is just delayed because CSC is far from Illinois 😊. Thanks for the info. Good luck on your next journey

Got it!  So technically, we need the last 5 digits to really see where they are.  Although, obviously it doesn't make much of a difference since the approvals are all over the place :)  Congrats!

So they are way past your case number then..but then there goes the theory of some adjudicators working slowly and having more cases to work on than others. I just hope ours is has not gone to that desk. I would hope that your Noa2 is just around the corner you might never know it's already on its way to your mailbox 😊 good luck to us

Oh may the heavens hear you and so we will be lucky to have our approval tom. I have been hopeful seeing 4/10 and 4/11 approvals but after knowing spike hasn't gotten there's so maybe they are still not working in sequence.
