OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

Welcome to all the new members joining April filers family. You know all the cliches... Better late than never. The more the merrier... What else? :)

 

Today I got my police records and also got my birth certificate certified, so I'm quite ready my side for packet 3... whenever that happens. I wasn't going to do all that until July, but when I got my birth certificate on Monday they said I had to go to a different place to certify it, which happens to be same place where I was getting the police records. So I just decided to go and see how that worked since I don't like uncertainty and the unknown, and didn't want to risk any delays later on. I also happened to get my college diploma certified and ready so it's valid in the US. Busy day indeed :P

 

I'm not that patient of a person but I'm dealing quite well with the waiting game for now. Probably because I know it's not our time yet. But I don't know what will happen next month, especially if/when we are past the estimated date without any news of NOA2.

 

So yep, just getting as ready as I can be here... I'll take care of medical things on July, I think. Well, I know I'm up to date with vaccines here, but I think Tetanus is required every 10 years in the US, and I'm positive there's been longer since I got the last shot, so I'll check with my doctor about that.

 

And that's mostly it. Just sharing :P

I for one appreciate the share.  The waiting game is very hard, especially when you have not been with the one that you love for many months (3 Months plus for me), she has been getting the NBI's that she needs, already has a copy of her BC, and her CENOMAR as well.  All things that those that are Filipino or are with a Filipino know about.  When it comes to the medical, they have to have that done at a specific place in Manila.  I am looking forward to visiting her in the near future as well. 

 

I guess for now, we just keep each other company and stalk everyone ahead of us. :P

We also have to do the medical exam at this specific place in Madrid, but I rather take care of vaccines beforehand for free at my doctor. One thing less and some buck less :)
