Yes, there are two dates on the letter , one is 'received date' and one (in the top right hand corner) is 'NOA1 date'.

 

I have applied for official copies of my birth certificate and for my police certificate already. A birth certificate never runs out and the police certificate has 6 months (I believe). For Knightsbridge doctors surgery for the medical we have to take a police certificate. I don't expect it to be 6 months before I attend the medical, or interview for that matter. My fiance has already filled out the I-134 for support and has been to his bank to get official statments and letters that we may need. He has his W2s and paychecks ready too. He's in the process of getting a letter off his employer but is having a bit of trouble knowing who to go to because hes in the military.

 

You can start collecting those things too, as well as evidence for your interview (such as visits between the date you applied and now) to prove an 'ongoing relationship'. I would leave the DS-160 until NVC has received your case, but I believe you could start that too if you wished. Hope this helps!

I can imagine how it feels to see the mail itself but still can't have it. But atleast it will be there soon. Keep us posted 😊. Good luck. And thanks I hope we will have our Noa2 next week too

Day 135... I'm at the airport leaving Jamaica and it was the hardest thing to say goodbye not knowing when we would see each other again. My timeline dates have come and gone. No app updates, nothing in informed delivery... So frustrating and painful

Cheer up!. At least you were able to spend time with your beloved and had some breather from all this stress. They are working around your time so you might never know you're mail is on its way to your mailbox 😊 have a safe flight!

Wasn't sure what time your delivery would be but I can't say my plan would be any different. Good luck and hope it's a quick enough fix that he does have a chance to close the mailbox door!

Definitely try to find a thread for your specific country and maybe search timelines for your specific country as well. That'll help give you a ballpark. And if you're worried about it taking longer than you might hope, do everything you can to be as prepared as possible for the interview stage! As soon as I get my NOA2, I'll have my forms filled out, needing only to be signed, dated, and mailed.

Wow really? Thank God for informed delivery. I got an email from post office today. My Electric Bill will be here soon.

If you have documents on hand, should be something relatively easy to fix.  Just make sure in your haste you don't send something wonky and make a 2nd mistake.   Good luck!

Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd give you guys a quick update. We got our NOA 2 hardcopy in the mail today, and it is dated as of 08/11, not 08/14 like tier2 and the tracker said.

So the theory that it takes some time until it gets updated sounds pretty legit...

To anyone who is still waiting, stay positive, you're almost there....my fingers and toes are crossed for all of you.
