Hello my fellow April filers. We have our NOA1 AND the packet was received on the 24th of April. Been over 6 weeks, I check the site, and nothing.. Looking slow.. I hope California picks up the pace and starts knocking these out faster...

my cousin and his fiancee is april filer but they dont have acount here.

i am just posting here to tell you that be patient, our time is arriving.

i want share with you that a sweet person ran a scan for march fier and show yesterday 3 approvals from march and others cases touched, that mean that they are working on march so after us you are the next. fingers cross and patient

She's so sweet indeed, still doing scans even when she's going through so much herself... 

 

Yes, March is officially being worked on. I got an update in the phone app yesterday for one of those cases, and the scan showed 3 cases approved even before the day was over, so with that and the system probably still not working, we can assume there might have been more Approvals than just those.

 

March is a month with a huge number of petitions, but let's keep hoping it will be April's turn in a month.

Yes, let's keep hoping.  We all want to be with our loved ones as soon as possible.

I have one Android app called USCIS App. Not that it's of that much use now that the system doesn't work as it should, but oh well... still gives me an idea of what's happening roughly.

I know there's different apps for iPhone, you just have to search the store

Not yet. We agreed it would be a waste of time since the system wasn't working properly.

Anybody try to expedite and it go through? Or has anyone received NOA2 yet? Wedding is 8/9/17 and I'm starting to panic. USPS lost our packet so USCIS didn't get it until April. NOA1 = 4-6-17

I hate to put a damper on your date, but that is going to be really hard to do.  Based on estimates you won't get the NOA2 until middle of July.  Then it will take about a month and a half to get to the Embassy.

I would have to concur with Keith & Monica on this.  On top of the month and half to get to the embassy, then you would need to schedule the interview plus all of the medical checks etc.  Even if they clear some of the logjam, you would be hard pressed to make that date.  I wish you both the best of luck.

Thanks so much! We need all the luck we can get. I know it's not really a long-long wait but it kinda makes you anxious waiting for something you worked for. Very excited and scared lol have a nice day :-)
