Yep, the tracker was updating yesterday for Monday's approvals mostly, for some weird reason, so good you took advantage of it.

What was your received date, btw?

My NOA1 received date was 07 Apr. I was using the VJ convention and reporting the NOA1 notice date of 13 Apr.

 

Thanks everybody. I'm trying to not to lose my mind while I'm at work.  Fortunately my fiance' works late so I was able to text her and tell her the good news.

Yep!  I got my NVC case number on Monday!  My NOA2 was August 2nd.  I called about 7:45AM EST and was on hold less than 60 seconds.

Processing times went back to February 1st today, after changing again to January 1st yesterday... It is a crazy world at USCIS!

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can answer this for me pretty quickly. I'm just about to submit my application for my police report and I dont know how many to order. 1 = £45 additional copies = £6 when ordered at the same time. Any advice?

i got one police certificate from every country i lived more than 6 months, our attorney said it's ok.

I think i'll do 2 since for some reason I have to take one to my medical and im terrified they won't give it back. Thank goodness I dont need more than that. These costs are stacking up.

I only ordered one as I'm presuming everything I take to the medical, I'll either bring home with me to take to the embassy or goes with the documents Knightsbridge doctors send to the embassy.

Does anyone know if we HAVE to bring a paycheck stub to the interview at the consulate. I won't have my first paycheck by that time but I have all the other financial documents for her to take in. Do you think this will be a problem?

My Embassy specifically advises to get two copies of everything, but that could also have to do with the fact we have to mail all the documents prior to book the interview appointment and medical, and mail can always get lost.

Anyway, they are less than 4€ each here...

From Ukraine US Embassy website:

5. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: Any evidence from your American spouse/fiancé(e)which will show the consular officer that you and members of your family who will accompany you will not become public charges while in the United States. Documentation regarding financial support can be in any form – preferably one year of tax returns, W-2s, bank statements, earning statements, letters from employers. PRESENTING ONLY THE AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT I-134 FORM IS NOT SUFFICIENT. The I-864 form is not required for a fiancé(e) visa.

It seems you should be fine as long as you have at least the letter from employer, along with other support documents.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but why won't you have at least one paystub by the time of the interview? It very well could take a couple of months to get the appointment...

Anyway, whatever the reason is your fiance just would have to explain the situation if asked, and it should be fine.
