Received an email from USCIS about my Expedite.  They denied it for a bull reason.

"We regret to inform you that we cannot grant your request for expedited processing of your I-129F.

You are requesting expedite review of your case due to your claim of a USCIS Error.  You stated that a case status did not show an RFE was sent out and 12 days had passed since Tier 2 notified you an RFE was mailed to you.

We reviewed the information in your case, which shows that there was no error committed.  Our records show that you made an inquiry on 08/11/2017 requesting an expedite review.  There is no record that the RFE was ever created and/or mailed out 12 days ago, before you inquired on the case.  That statement is incorrect.

Today, on 08/15/2017, at 1:56pm,  we produced and mailed your Request for Evidence Notice to the most recent address we have on file.  The RFE was never created before your inquiry, let alone mailed out 12 days ago.  It was created on 08/15/2017, 4 days after your claim.

Our records show that an RFE request was initiated on 07/31/2017.  Which means it was requested for production, it was not yet produced and/or mailed out.  Once an RFE is initiated, it takes up to 14 days for production of such notice."

That is such #######.  So I still am waiting to actually receive it.

It's great to see tons of approvals last week and this week. But the week isn't done yet so me and my fiance are being positive about waiting. We're expecting this week but who knows? It gives me major anxiety just thinking about when it will arrive. Our receive date is 04/06 and our noa1 is 04/11. I've seen people get approved with the same noa1 as ours. Share your luck lol good day guys!

It looks like the chart is titled "Field Office Processing Dates for California Service Center as of: May 31, 2017." If they're working on cases with a date of Jan 1 as of May 31, then that's exactly 150 days. However, if it's an error and they're processing cases with a date of Jan 1 as of June 30, then that's 180 days. Didn't the last update say they were working on cases with a date of Feb 1 as of June 30 (149 days)? I'm not sure how everyone else counts, but I use a basic formula in Excel =Days(end date, start date), and I always use my NOA1 date. That way I might get a nice surprise if USCIS goes off of received date and get my NOA2 a few days earlier than expected. Anyways, I want to throw out there again that when I called USCIS earlier today, both the Tier 1 Person and the Tier 2 Officer told me they're working on cases from February.

You got that answer because it was true when you called. They just changed that at some moment later on during the day.

Also it doesn't really matter it says that is the date worked as on May or June. My point is if you call inquiring about your case, they will never start the inquiry until it's out of processing time according to this date as of today. I mean, if you have a mid January case, or early February, which means 7-8 months, they still can say you are within processing times and not start any inquiry.

Oh well... Let's hope for the better on that moving forward soon again and no one here being left behind :)

So it seems working on a case takes longer that we thought maybe... It doesn't make much sense but it's how they work, though sure they should have explained you that from the start.

I guess the good thing is actually no letter got lost in the mail and no clock ticking off towards the RFE deadline.

Yeah, no big positives really. Let's hope it arrives soon :(
