Case sent: 03-31

Received date: 04-10

NOA 1 date: 04-13

we think it goes off received date which is 04-10 but my fiancé changed our timeline to the NOA 1 date 04-13..

Today is the 13th based on US time, it's been 123 days from received date..

We are the same dates received 4-10 notice 4-13, we are getting very close :)

Honestly, this is a horrible thing to say on a forum well-known in the visa world. Would you want them to take your comment seriously and suspend operations for a bit due to fear of a credible threat? I wouldn't.

It's a joke and anyone who would actually try to go to CSC and do that is a fool.

Never said anything about a RIOT.

It's called Levity.

I know full well they are doing the best they can with what the personnel and environment they have.

Joke or not posting a picture of the CSC and suggesting a group of us go down there to riot is NOT COOL.  The guys and gals that work at USCIS deserve our upmost respect for all the extra work we gave them this year so far.  In addition the changes they must be going through with a new commander in chief only makes their jobs more stressful.  Remember immigration is a privilege and not a right!   So lets put our best foot forward and treat them the way we would like to be treated.

Someone else posted the picture. I just made the comment. If people took it seriously or were offended oh well. Can't please everyone. Others found the Levity as a form of relief during this stressful time.

I gave my rant on politicians, bureaucrats and not approving humanitarian petitions for 7 years last week so I for one won't judge. Do I think they are working hard? Yes..Do I think there is so much needless red tape they have to navigate to make a decision? Yes...Is our immigration system broken? It has some hairline fractures to be certain...Do I think that your remark was meant to be tongue-in-cheek? Indeed....We're all friends here..Let's relax.  Chris

What particular part of the intent to marry you had a mistake with? If you met on a full pledge dating site, TOS is necessary..who knows you might be just lucky depending to the adjudicator but just have the TOS printed and ready so you can submit it at anytime if in any case you get an RFE, it's good to be ready..

My fiancee was struggling to understand how he was supposed to write it thanks to dodgy internet.  So I changed mine to show him how the body should look... long story short he didn't change the header with his address on the top of the letter and I didnt change mine back to my name so both say I Anass.  I cannot believeI did something so stupid or missed it this whole damned time...gah!

Oops...I would have Him send a new one back to you ASAP..I think they still require the original with ink signature( if a copy is ok then someone will correct me here). And find your sites TOS disclosure and print it so it ready to respond to RFE...Don't beat yourself up about it, things happen.

Sorry to see so many people are stressed at the moment. I can certainly relate to the frustration of not being able to plan things with an ongoing petition :(. We are currently stuck trying to decide if its worth planning another trip between now and me entering on K1. Financially it might not be wise spending $2000 on a trip just a couple of months before we have to buy tickets again. But of course, we both just want to be with each other.

Hopefully next week will be a good week. Im feeling positive for all those with received date in the first week of April. Happy Sunday everyone:star:

I am in the same boat.  Heading to the Philippines on Thursday.  But I'll take the hit of paying to go back in another couple of months if it means we are on the way to getting the visa.  I could say a few things about some other issues regarding RFEs but I am a bit paranoid and don't want to complain about the USCIC since my fate is in their hands.  Will say that while the law is black and white, what constitutes the necessary evidence to meet the law may sometimes fall into a gray area that is totally subjective.  A 129F could be examined by two people and one would give it the OK and another may send an RFE.  Sadly, that is the way it is.
