A December filer approved in July told me about Tier 3.  He said it was the highest you could go without talking to a member of management.

I usually don't mention Tier 3 in the threads, figured it would be the mythological 'Bigfoot' and just start an argument.  I slipped on a post yesterday and mentioned it......  Anyways, He had a story to tell - wow!  I started the conversation with him to pick some pointers from his experiences over the 7 mos.

He described Tier 1 as a Gov't contractor to take the brunt of angry callers - their access is what we have on the www

 

Tier 2 based in New Hampshire or somewhere in North East - National Call Center.  Can see a little more of the case, like touches, but can't communicate with the adjudicator and actually doesn't know if your case is in the hallway in a pile or on a desk or on the shelf.

 

Tier 3 can place notes on the file, drop a instant message on desktop of adjudicator, and make a request of the adjudicator.  

 

I have yet to succeed to get a tier 3, interestingly - they never deny they exist. lol

So tonight I've gone down the rabbit hole and convinced myself that we will have trouble getting our noa2 because Matt is recently divorced  

 

Does anyone else go through stages of complete and utter panic that they won't get their NOA2 at all or is it just me?

Don't say that! Gary is recently divorced too, and maybe we should have explained better he was long ago separated, but seriously, that shouldn't be an issue or their business, because this is about legal matters or should be.

I'm glad it's not just me then!

 

For the most part, I can stay pretty rational about this process but I just had a mini freak out about it tonight! This waiting is finally making me crazy!

I know, believe me... But I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people on the same situation and, as long as they have proof the relationship is real, as I'm sure yours and mine is, then there should be no issues

Go do something nice instead of letting those thoughts nagging at you  I should go sleep, for example

So true, me and Matt said from the beginning that as laborious as this process can be, it's really not difficult to provide everything they ask for when you're telling the truth and being genuine.

I hope not because I'm recently divorced after being separated for over 2.5 years. That being said. If an x-con can get a waiver (depending on the crime of course) I would think a recent divorce would be ok as long as it's final and you have proof.

Gary was separated almost since year one, but he didn't go into much detail explaining to USCIS... The fact he didn't divorce before made that a ten years marriage though, where they never actually lived together (she's from the UK). It's a difficult situation and can raise questions I guess. I'm hoping it doesn't, because this has been hard enough already as it was, with the divorce taking almost two years total... I don't usually talk about this because it's hard having someone enjoying the fact they are causing you harm...

I too was recently divorced ... I think about a week after I got the final decree I sent my petition in. I had a long discussion with Rapidvisa about this and they said no worries ... if you are legally divorced you are good to go, so there it is. As I understand it, USCIS is only concerned about the legality of the divorce; however, at the embassy, the moral question may come up, but I think a straight forward answer and you're good to go, after all they don't know all the ins and outs and who are they to judge  ... but just be prepared to answer or endure some answers about the X Spouse. I am not looking forward to these questions but I am prepared lol

That's my thought too, but I find it a bit unfair I'm the one having to answer the questions, to be honest. Yet I'm fully prepared for it, because being close to our three year anniversary, this for sure is real

I understand. My ex was supposed to file an uncontested with me and be done over a year ago, but ran off with her BF and then dodged every Sheriff that showed up to serve papers.haha But I finally caught her at work and it was served.
