I'm really sorry that's the news you got by calling them, and they truly are ruthless given the situation. I'm really really crossing my fingers so you get that hardcopy for the RFE in the mail ASAP, because 7/31 since a bit ago for me.

Also it's bad news the tracker didn't update for you, because that would mean we can't trust any letter from them is going to be a NOA2.

I don't know, somehow hoping they made a mistake when they told you get an RFE... :(

Perfect thank you!

they are working 4/3 - 4/7 received dates then

What does make you say that? I mean, I scanned up to April 6th today, and there's nothing there. As I said earlier, yesterday was a great day for April 3rd and 5th, but still have to see anything after that date. I would be very happy to be wrong though :P

I am so sorry to read this, can you not request them to resend the letter considering they said they sent it nearly 2 weeks ago. Hopefully your RFE is something simple.

Once again I'm so sorry!!

Sorry to hear that, we all try to think of logical reasons of why the USCIS works the way it does..but absolutely NO idea comes to mind as to why they are as extremely untrustworthy as they are.

So, I just called the USCIS. The first rep. gave me the normal information, that they received my case April 6 and are working on cases from Feb. 1st. I asked for a teir two representative, and the kind lady immediately agreed and transferred me. The teir two rep. told me my case is within normal processing time and they are processing cases from feb. 1. I told him that can't possibly be true, considering I know people who applied in March and April and have been approved. He said that the last time the system was updated was June 30, so they were processing cases from February 1 on June 30, and its very possible they have moved to April by now. He then told me my case has passed the "pre-review" stage and was showing that everything was ok, and there would be no RFE. He said there are no derogatory marks on the case and it is just waiting for the assigned officer to adjucate it, which could happen at any time based on his/her caseload. He welcomed me to call back any time to check it again. I think I will call back on Monday or Tuesday... or do you think calling them frequently will annoy them and make them go slower? I am leaving for Morocco Aug. 30 and I am hoping we will have our approval before then.

I think wishful thinking, sorry :P

Even if they are working on April, they are still working on March too, and they don't work in a new day every day, as it proves they worked on April 5th yesterday, but also April 3rd, because the amount of cases for that day is high. So my theory is they might be working on April 6th today or starting Monday. And if they already did, then great :)
