Congratulations to all that recently received their NOA2, and to those that haven't, no worries, you're time is coming. This is all about faith and a strong foundation in your relationship. 

 

Just to tell you all about faith and strength, yesterday's traveling to Jamaica was HELL...why you ask? Well, my flight was originally scheduled to leave 5pm, get to Fort Lauderdale at 7:49pm and my second flight was supposed to leave at 9:59pm and get to Jamaica at 10:36pm (11:36pm EST). I was gonna spend my layover with my dad and go to dinner! Welp....THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!!

 

First flight didn't leave Philly Airport until 8pm due to bad weather Florida was having. My connection was delayed (Thank God) because I didn't arrive to Fort Lauderdale until 10:30pm. I had to run a mile distance from one end of the gate to another gate because now my layover was only 25 minutes. Get to Jamaica at midnight their time just to find out that my checked bag DID NOT GET PUT ON THE FLIGHT WITH ME TO FLORIDA!!!! Luckily, I've left some clothes and toiletries at his house because if not I would be screwed. Now, I have to wait for my bag to come over to Jamaica so MoBay airport can have someone drive it to me. But at the end of this whole ordeal, my fiance and I are together. 

 

So I share my story with you all just for one simple point.....no matter what obstacles come in the way, no matter what or how long the delays are gonna be, and no matter how tired, exhausted and stressed out you're gonna feel....NOTHING and NO ONE is gonna keep you and your fiance from being together. Trust me, yesterday was not easy for me between cussing out ticket agents and baggage claim workers and crying on the plane praying I wouldn't have to stay the night in Florida and pray I make the connection. But as me and my fiance said to each other last night, this is one bad day outta many great, awesome and beautiful days we've had and will have together in the future. Nothing will stand in the way of us being together!!

 

And if you all really want to spend the rest of your lives with your fiance, nothing will stand in the way of you're happily ever! 

 

Okay.....I'm going back to sleep now!!! Talk to you all later!! :D

I would have missed my connect in Tokyo, Narita to Manila in February if I had checked bags. Delayed in Denver for de-icing, and ANA held the plane for the two of us on the United flight that didn't have checked bags. Or it was an overnight layover. ANA will not transport passengers without their luggage.

OMG I just got a notification on my app, we got our NOA2 just now!! It's nearly midnight and I was actually going to sleep but wanted to check something on my iPad and it popped up. So so happy.

Depending on how long I'm staying sometimes I check in and sometimes I don't but this is the first time this has ever happened to me and I'm a avid traveler. 

 

The thing is there was another couple who had the same connection because we were on the same flight and their bags made it. JetBlue dropped the ball plenty of times yesterday. So much went wrong!

We've been approved!!!! I called asking about our expedite and tier 2 said it was approved as of yesterday and will be sent to Nvc in 3-4 days.

I just called the USCIS, the tier one agent quoted processing Feb, so I requested a tier 2 agent and I just received the call back from Oscar who said, "Congratulations, your application was approved yesterday." I could not speak at first and tears started flowing down my cheeks. Thank you everyone, today is my birthday, what an awesome gift!
