Yep, always Received date, since that's what USCIS tracker shows

They have been working on both yours and @relaxango's dates, and yours had a lot of cases, so it takes time.

Another day loomes by, 133 days for us, woke up feeling quite down today, maybe because I suddenly have a cold.

I try to take comfort in the fact that once this waiting is done, it all seems to move at lightening speed in comparison!

 

Not long to go now  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it arrives soon

Happy Friday!  Two delivery days left this week, I hope everyone gets great news in the mail today or tomorrow!  I called NVC yesterday, and the lady looked up my receipt number and asked me how long I'd had my approval.. then she laughed.. laughed some more.. okay maybe more like giggled, and said it'll take at least another 2 weeks!   Jokes on her.. I'm calling back today, and the day after that, and the day after that.. lol

 

On the positive side for those of you frustrated with waiting (as I was), think of it this way..  My case was approved on 8/2, but I didn't find out until 8/7.  Depending on usps speeds (ugh), you're probably approved and just don't know yet.  Keep the spirits up!

Don't despair! You (like me) are almost there! And they might even picking up the pace again, so who knows?

Guys, my fiancé (he's the petitioner) called USCIS today to ask about our application. They told him that they're processing applications dated Feb 1, that our application is going through normal processing and nothing has been sent out yet as far as NOA2 goes. I'm excited to hear good news from all of you but I'm getting anxious

Good morning my Aprilites!!!!

 

Your favorite May lurker here safely in Jamaica with my fiance.

 

Congratulations to all that recently received their NOA2, and to those that haven't, no worries, you're time is coming. This is all about faith and a strong foundation in your relationship. 

 

Just to tell you all about faith and strength, yesterday's traveling to Jamaica was HELL...why you ask? Well, my flight was originally scheduled to leave 5pm, get to Fort Lauderdale at 7:49pm and my second flight was supposed to leave at 9:59pm and get to Jamaica at 10:36pm (11:36pm EST). I was gonna spend my layover with my dad and go to dinner! Welp....THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!!

 

First flight didn't leave Philly Airport until 8pm due to bad weather Florida was having. My connection was delayed (Thank God) because I didn't arrive to Fort Lauderdale until 10:30pm. I had to run a mile distance from one end of the gate to another gate because now my layover was only 25 minutes. Get to Jamaica at midnight their time just to find out that my checked bag DID NOT GET PUT ON THE FLIGHT WITH ME TO FLORIDA!!!! Luckily, I've left some clothes and toiletries at his house because if not I would be screwed. Now, I have to wait for my bag to come over to Jamaica so MoBay airport can have someone drive it to me. But at the end of this whole ordeal, my fiance and I are together. 

 

So I share my story with you all just for one simple point.....no matter what obstacles come in the way, no matter what or how long the delays are gonna be, and no matter how tired, exhausted and stressed out you're gonna feel....NOTHING and NO ONE is gonna keep you and your fiance from being together. Trust me, yesterday was not easy for me between cussing out ticket agents and baggage claim workers and crying on the plane praying I wouldn't have to stay the night in Florida and pray I make the connection. But as me and my fiance said to each other last night, this is one bad day outta many great, awesome and beautiful days we've had and will have together in the future. Nothing will stand in the way of us being together!!

 

And if you all really want to spend the rest of your lives with your fiance, nothing will stand in the way of you're happily ever! 

 

Okay.....I'm going back to sleep now!!! Talk to you all later!!
