Congrats, guys!

Would you be using Apostille for any of your documents (Birth certificate, Criminal records, Marital status). I will for sure get it for my Birth certificate since it is for life, but I am wondering about Marital status and Criminal records. Criminal records are only valid for 6 months and as far as I remember I need it for my AOS. Apostille is expensive and my embassy's site (Sofia) does not say anything about it.

Also, will you be using professional legalized translations? I read that people have passed their interviews with documents they've translated on their own.

I see people with NOA1 on April 5th have gotten their approvale. I'm on April 6th! :jest:

I got the Apostille for both, birth certificate and police clearance, since here it's free and actually you do it at the same place you get the police certificate. I also got it for my college diploma and transcripts.

I don't think we need the police certificate for AOS. Not sure, but I think I checked that a couple of months ago and it was only for certain circumstances, not us. Take it with a grain of salt.

I'm getting my birth certificate translated by a sworn translator, but nothing else. I can always get whatever else I might need translated there :)

Like @lon552 and @vcpdragon, I'm going to congratulate you on your approval already :jest:

Have to say I was pretty sure this would happen this week, since 4 months is the new trend for NOA2's.

Hoping that is true for the rest of Aprilites here that have been waiting equally long :)

Thank you @Estibaliz, I am pretty convinced it is. Now I am already getting ready to prepare myself for some stuff. I was gonna go to sleep since I didn't get any yet but after hearing this news, looks like I'm staying awake! No way I can sleep now! Lol.

But it does seem 4 months in quite normal anymore for NOA2's, and I hope it's the same for the rest! I'm sure you're next! :)

Well forgot the post but my Fiancee and I finally got our NOA2 it came in the mail Saturday. I literally checked the mailbox 4 times that day. Finally, as I was driving home I saw a mail truck down the road so figured why not check one more time and there it was! Haha maybe I was going a bit crazy 😂. I hope the rest of you receive yours soon!

In case you were wondering here are the dates:

USCIS Received i129f: March 29th

NOA1: April 5th

NOA2: August 1st

Hey guys! I checked my Informed Delivery today and got a letter from USCIS. I'm so nervous. I see that the notice date is August 3rd. I called USCIS and spoke to a tier 2 officer and he said I didn't have any RFE or approvals on the way and they are processing January cases and all of that. The same day I contacted my senator when they didn't give me any information on my petition. They contacted me back August 3rd, the same day this letter is dated. Nothing says anything about an RFEon USCIS' website, so.... now I wait till the mail arrives. Excited and scared all in one go. :jest:

Congratulations to the both of you on receiving your NOA2 or the "Golden Ticket"!!!!!! I'm happy for the both of you as this could only mean the elastic has popped and there's gonna be an oveflow of NOA2's coming for April!!!!

I'm at my desk jumping with joy for these approvals as if I got my NOA2 in the mail and I'm a May filer!!!!

Good luck on the rest of your journey & to the rest of my Aprilites, take a deep breath because the way will soon be over for you guys!!!

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)
