Maybe you should ask about the child and petition in the general forum, since sure enough there will be more experienced people there that can help you. I personally am clueless, sorry.

But you have to  We all share the same feeling and some days are easier than others, but we still have quite a long way ahead.

 

Unfortunately this week they are processing cases very slowly, it seems. There's still cases from November, around 300 from December, over 1500 for January, almost all February and March has over 4000 😱 So yep, I guess we'll have to wait till July before getting even excited.

 

Hah! Easier said than done.

The child is never on the NOA's.

You will add them to the DS-160 when doing the visa application later down the road.

I filed on the 24th, they cashed the check and it cleared on the 27th and I got the NOA on the 2nd. I don't know if that's fast. But thanks for the update on the child.

Hello, everyone.  So excited to have made it to this point!  Sent my I-129F packet on April 28... no NOA1 yet but I see that they cashed my check.  :))

Yay! Isn't it nice when it's still exciting and not nerve wrecking?

 

Our check was cashed the same day of our NOA1 notice date and we got the text/email next day, so yep, seems you are in.

 

I think you are technically a May filler, but more than welcome to stay here with us. We are not as chatty as March fillers (love you, guys!), but we are nice people anyway

I guess I'm fashionably late to this party!  Better late than never...  Anyway, Mailed the packet on 4/17/17 and got my NOA1 on 4/27.  My petition is at the CSC, and I hope mine and everyone else's petitions are processed and approved quickly.  I look forward to learning and sharing with everyone here.

That is so true. Me and my fiance has not so much knowledge with this nerve wrecking process and we're certified easy freaking brains especially me.. haha.. That is why, before my fiance filed the petition, he had to join a service just to guide us, to make sure we're doing things right and try hard to avoid RFEs. But then, even with the service and the confidence and trust that we did it right, I still can't help myself from freaking out. Sometimes, I would just considered it, I was just being so excited.. haha.. I have tried backing away a little bit nowadays here but ended up keep coming back.. haha.. Anyway, Godbless and good luck to all of us.. :-)
