Today I received a phone call around 9am from an immigration specialist with my local senators office. I explained the whole situation on the phone to her and she told me to fill out a Privacy Release Form. With that, I attached the two signed forms from the Privacy Release, a copy of my NOA1 notice, an explanation of the situation in it's entirety, and a screenshot of Igor's List edited in paint with explanation. I told her about how the case tracker isn't working and they won't give us any information on our cases when we call USCIS. I also took a screenshot of Igor's list and presented the approvals from the NOA1 notices to the NOA2 notices. I'm trying to show her that it's clear USCIS isn't only processing January 1st cases. I told her my expected outcome is an update on my case. We will see how it goes as I just sent all my documents to her!

Whether this gets me an approval on my case, or an RFE, I don't know yet. I'm feeling very optimistic and I recommend others do the same as honestly, she contacted me very quickly on this matter.

That's my update. And of course, no NOA2 today. Informed delivery isn't notifying me of any mail.

But at least I did that.

Well done! I'm giving it one more week before I send my letter. I got one find the excuse of a 2010 Haitian earthquake to be ludicrous and insulting.

This slow down clearly coincides with the Supreme Courts decision to uphold parts of Trumps travel ban/ extreme vetting, and is a form of protest by USCIS....my opinion only.

I just read where a June filer was told 6 months to NOA2. Alleged backlog of six months.

If that's coming from the CSC that's been their line all along. In May they were telling the February filers that they were working on November and December.

Yes it was CSC... still have to wonder why they are handing 95% of all cases. What is TSC and VSC doing then?

I went looking for a breakdown of which cases each center handled but didn't find anything worth quoting. I know they moved some of the other cases that CSC was handling to the Nebraska Service Center back in May because of the growing backlog.

Anything other than K1 / CR1 and family visas. My AOS will be out of Kansas City, Mo by my understanding.

That is probably pretty accurate.  I got my NOA1 on June 6 and this site had an estimate of early September.  Now two months later that estimate has dropped 6 weeks to mid October.  It has been dropping 2 days each day for the last week.  I am hoping for 6 months but some people think closer to 9 months for the NOA2.  I am a bit more optimistic than that.  I do believe NOA1 to interview will be pushing a full year soon.
