A case would have me out for like 2 weeks. Just two would have me woozy.

@Estibaliz that's our plan B if any roadblock was to happen. That was his original plan but I wanted a change so we went with my way.

*oh they are talking about marriage based immigration* cocks ears

Well, for us it was a 1+1=2 kind of thing.

He has a good permanent job. I've been doing a seasonal one.

I speak English (though still have to improve it). He can't speak Spanish for the life of it.

But whatever it takes :)

Lol, you two should try Spanish "clara". It's beer mixed with soda, and my fiance absolutely loved it when he came visit last summer. So refreshing! I had one this evening, lol :P

I love Cava!  I love all things bubbles (champagne, sparking wine, etc) and my go-to used to be Prosecco but if I have a choice between Cava and Prosecco, it's Cava all the way! mmmmm....

Yep, you have to do what makes sense, we're basically in the same boat.. He has a permanent job and his profession is really in demand where he lives, I have a temporary job and his profession is VERY over saturated here and new graduates are having to go basically to different countries to work, so it makes more sense for me to immigrate there then him to come here..

What sort of beer and soda? I'll gladly try that, I love those sort of mixtures

@kat.cap13 she is awaiting her approval just like me. My brother lives NY and he is taking care of her stuff. I thought parents were usually a breeze but HA. Funny enough, the case tracker goes OFF like 10 times a day with updates for her case. Why aren't we so lucky lol.

He will be okay then if he's submitted the paperwork!! This hasn't been passed yet anyways, and we know how slow that can be....

I loved Spanish in high school, my teacher was from Ecquador and she always made Spanish snacks for class. I got 98% overall for that course and now I don't know a lick of Spanish  except for a few basics.

But I understand, as far as job goes, he has a good one also.

@KeriAn @amishbaby and going to tag you here too, @spike198 I always find hard to explain what clara is in English :P

Beer would be light or lager beer. The soda is commonly 'gaseosa', that I think you could call sparkling water, though not exactly. Think more like Sprite. Sometimes you can use lemon flavor too.

And I don't like cava really, too sour for me. I rather have my sparkling cider, typical here in Asturias :)

I do love Moscato, and that was pretty much it. I don't really drink. Though Gary got me into Amaretto Sour :P

Editing to let you know I've run out of reputation to give away today. That means it's been a great day, lol. Still like all your comments :D

Sounds interesting!  Maybe I'll try it out one day!  I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks, hence the Cava.  If I have a drink (ha ha, I said "if", I obviously meant "when") it doesn't have juice or anything sweet.

@KeriAn Spanish is a fun language, but a bit hard to learn too. I noticed you had forgotten when you said you didn't know what 'Despacito' was about. LOL :D;)

@Knifeboxx Exactly! We might be love birds, but we still have a functional brain and do what makes more sense

Hello everyone, hope I can join the team anxiety party lol

My NOA1 is from April 6th and I am losing my mind, not to mention I missed my university deadlines because of this delay and won't have a nice summer wedding on our anniversary :D

Now I'm freaking out because of my passport photos - they are 35mm x 45mm and it just won't be fair to get an RFE for that when we all pay so much for a service that takes 4+ months to even open our cases and gives us no information whatsoever.

Idk. I know everyone is anxious. I just wish for some clarity.

Oh, who doesn't love a smarty pants? I'm sure my fiance does, because I most definitely am one :D

I'm also a sweet girl apparently, hence no cava for me, @spike198 Actually Gary calls me sweetie and never uses my name really. Can't blame him because it's not an easy name to pronounce :P

And now, my beauties, I should start thinking of going to bed. My sleep is being affected a bit for this whole process, and I sure need any possible help I can get from the so called beauty sleep :P
