All of us should be extremely careful ... after approval and before the interview there are strictly 4 months ... only one day later - and the whole process from the very beginning ...   the preparation of documents for the interview not on the last day:jest:

Although the petition has a 4 month validity date, it can be extended by the embassy via email.  Extension is usually done automatically but it is important to follow up with the embassy to make sure it's okay so that they do not let it expire.

yes, they do not let it expire...but! it means they give you a corridor of time for the interview ... when you are notified that your case is in the embassy and you can schedule an interview day, it is better to have the documents ready ... when you pay fee and open the calendar for the record - there may not be free dates that you want, ... if you make three attempts - you will have to pay fee again.

congrats @rainbow.sprinkle!!! so happy for you!

@Estibaliz it was such a good idea to be organised! thanks to you, I discovered something! i am normally very last minute with these things.

I wanted to share this with all of you who may have lived in a different country for more than 6 months. We need to provide police clearances from those countries, as well. mine was from the UK, and the service (without the delivery time) takes 10 days and it costs significantly higher if you want it faster! i wanted to share this because even requesting that document requires documents that may take time to collect!

Wow, Aprilites! Sure you were chatty today while I was out enjoying the sunny weather.

@Chris2870 Medical here used to be around $300 too, and I think I read somewhere the raise had to do with them including the urine test for gonorrhea.

For those you asking, I found the info about the required vaccines on the clinic website. I'm attaching the English version of the file here, see page 5 there.

@amishbaby Welcome to the show! It's quiet now, but we are anticipating the party :)

@rainbow.sprinkle Congrats! Another 4/4 to the counter :jest:

@cameradiary Thanks for the mention, but you being organized is only your doing :)

Lol, not sure if there was anything else I wanted to say :P

Did anyone have their K-1 Visa done professionally? I was wondering if that affected when your case was processed due to the appearance of it.
