But we received our NOA1 in the post on 28th July..... still a LONNNNGGGGG way to go yet.

I have some family stuff I have to deal with in January 2017 so I wouldn't leave until March/April 2018 anyway so I'm cool with the waiting. lol

According to Groupon, there's still a couple of the little ones left.  I hope anyways.  Wow, that's quite the change going from the broiler of Vegas to the freezer of Alaska!

There's hundreds of chapels. They'd have to raze the city to get them all. My friends said I was the last person that they would expect to move to Alaska because of how much I hated the cold. It's hard to say you like 100+ degree F temperatures but I was used to them. It took me 3 years to get acclimated to Alaska. I wore sweaters in the summer. The last winter I lived there it didn't get above 20 degrees F for 2 months and we had 4 feet of snow on the ground in Anchorage. I can't say I want to experience -85 F again either. It's why I live in Florida now. Tropical temperatures, beaches, and ZERO chance of snow. This is my element!

Hopeful to hear from USCIS and get an NOA2 before I visit my fiance in the Philippines on 08/23. Staying there for 4 weeks, and hopefully IF we do get an NOA2, I'll be able to accompany her to St. Lukes Medical Center and the US Manila Embassy.

That sounds great and still manageable if you get your NOA2 before leaving (NVC can take it's time too, but lately it seemed to have picked up the pace a bit).

I'll keep you in mind for my next round of bingo

It's been averaging approximately 70 days from NOA2 to interview lately, but you never know.

Good luck and enjoy your trip. I LOVE the Philippines.

no way? really? Last I researched this, the reason why people take a while from NOA2 to Interview was because of the time people needed to gather their documents prior to the interview such as: CENOMAR, Birth Certificate, NBI Clearance, I134 Affidavis of Support (and supporting Documents) etc.

My fiance and I already gathered those documents when I visited her last June. (I visit every three months) and yes I love the philippines too

Another day ticks by, another push back to the VJ timeline, more crickets....  This is nuts.  I would have expected a couple people on here to get approved by now!  As far as school is concerned, there is still a few weeks before they start here in Southern California (some districts might be different) but I would say most don't start until the week before Labor Day.  Sorry to be a buzz kill.  Although we've been waiting so long, who has a buzz still anyway right??!!

Last I looked it was 27 days til consulate receives petition, another 43 til interview on avg. but that was last week.

This is what has been reported here on VJ so far... So yep, two March received date and a random one for mid month. Hopefully we'll see that sad 3 number go up soon

Currently;

 

NOA2-NVC received date =21 days

NVC processing = 7 days

NVC-Consulate Received date =6 days

Consulate received date- Interview = 39 days ( all are averages, +/- depending on consulate: Manila currently 39 )

 

NOA1--Interview = 183 days currently on avg.
