It's very easy to get frustrated at this point. Good luck to you and I hope your other issues get worked out satisfactorily. I've been in a funk myself lately. I had a blast of hope when people started getting electronic notification on Thursday but it was short-lived. I was lifted to see the notification that @Unshakable Faithreceived a transfer (I hope that's good). Friday it seemed to be back to death by a 1000 paper cuts.

 

Here's to hoping and praying that someone from April gets some good news this week.

I'm sorry you are feeling down at the moment. I am also going through personal things and I know it worsens the situation. It seems to always be like this, though. It will be worth the wait in the end. Last push and you will be there...

Thanks for the kind words, but this is one of those things that can't have a satisfactory outcome.  I am hoping to see more of the people here getting approvals as well.

People seem to jump right into "Mail Order Bride" mode quickly.  The angle most people take is making a  joke about it, instead of just asking straight up.  But when I remind them about Joe and Jane who met each other online but live 2 blocks away from each other they scratch their head.  Then I explain that I met my fiancee online then wet met each other in person.  Then they turn red and sheepishly say, "Ohh you mean...people in other countries have internet?" Duh!       

 

(The names have been changed to protect the innocent.)

Or how about why didn't you just get married last time he was here. Once you eat married he's a citizen right? 🙄 

We didn't even meet online. It was a chance encounter at Starbucks when he was here on a student visa followed by 1 year of dating then 1 year living together. We have now been together for 5 years. So it's not some spontaneous spur of the moment plan.

Cheer up same here dealing with some personal stuff but we got to do what we need like you i just check here to see good news even not for me but for other april fillers , hope everthyng will be okay on whatever you're going through

@Keith & Monica Always good to see you around, because I did have a gut feeling you might be having a hard time right now. Since you said you are in a situation where there's not good outcome, I'm just going to wish you for the better outcome possible, even if unwanted. I'm sure you have a wonderful person by your side to make things better, even in the distance. And soon enough (well, not soon enough) you'll be together to share the load.

 

I know words are just words and life is proving, so I'm sure you are tired to hear the infamous 'hang up there'... But nothing else we can do really.

I don't pray, but I'm really really hoping you get good news this week

@dee-ar and @Estibaliz, I appreciate all the kind words for you all.  I do come on here for good news.  Yes, mahal ko is amazing.  She wants to do more than she can.  I am not a big sharer of personal info.  I haven't even shared it on facebook.  even though my sister has.  Some of my friends don't even know.  Basic info is that my father is dying.  Don't know how long he has.  My sister is amazing and has been with my mom for a couple of weeks helping her out.  He is in the hospital and they are trying to get him home.  My parents have been married for almost 59 years.  

 

Anyway, don't want to talk about it.

I tried to sign up for informed delivery but it said it couldn't identify me and try again later... how did you verify your identity when you signed up?

 

I'm going to Morocco Aug. 30 and I hope I get the NOA2 before that but I want informed delivery, just in case.

I know my fiance had to go through some weird security questions like an old address that was really his parents' for a bit while... if you fail that, you have to wait 72 hours before trying again. 

They also offer you to sign up for the service in person at your post office, but I read about someone trying to do it and the person there being totally clueless and like "showing you pictures of your mail? We don't do that"  I think he finally could fix it with the supervisor...

It was a little bit of a pain.  Don't ever forget your Username, cause they won't give it to you.  I just did it online and get the email every day (almost).  

 

If you go to the USPS.com site, then click on Quick Tools on the left.  You should see Informed Delivery listed.

hii happy to see that there is somone from morroco is having the same situation here . happy to meet u even that my fiance is petitioner he is also coming here aug 28 to spend holiday with me i hope everything goes easy for us

hii there i know its hard for us all specialy cuz of distance . but i know how strong u are .  what i want u to know is we are all here to support u .we all had harsh time but the good thing this will not last forever .
