I don't know anything about Emirates or for that matter AA.  What I do know is that from PDX to MNL, that Delta is incredible.  I just did a check on Emirates from PDX and the cost was about 4x what the flight on Delta would have cost as well as being almost 2x longer flight and not sure where it was taking me.  CRK?  Clark?  Thru Dubai.  A little strange.  Almost 38 hour long travel time, compared to just 17 1/2 hours travel time.  I'm just saying I could get First Class for less on Delta than the cost on Emirates for Business.  I will stick with Delta.

Emirates was recently rated # 4 in the world. They don't fly much out of Seattle, Portland to Philippines.

AA and Delta are not even on the list.

The service on non-us airlines can just be outstanding.

I fly EVA and Asiana.

Eva out of Taipei is my favorite. Nice airport and limited lay overs plus the price is right. Go to their website directly as they have promotions.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/flights/todayinthesky/2017/06/20/worlds-best-airlines-skytrax-world-airline-awards/411428001/

Heading over on EVA in 4 weeks from now. Hoping for I-129F approval via NOA 2 before I come home but only a 10 day trip. I'll be at about the 120 day mark when I return.

A week from today I'll be at 90 days since NOA 1

Hang in there everyone.

As I check this freaking site umpteen times a day, seeing how close (or far) our NOA 2 is away, driving myself crazy, my wonderful Fiancee sends me a message on LINE app " calm down! everything will be all right my love" good advice for all of us :)

Yes since those are in Makati Central Business District 😊. Mall of Asia is in another city, Pasay City. Same city as with the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. @Chris2870 You guys should also try another place in Makati in The Fort, Bonifacio Global City, nice place 😊😊😊

Love EVA out of SeaTac to Taipei.  Spring for the extra $100 for economy plus.  Then transfer on to Ho Chi Minh City.  China Airlines is also decent if I can avoid the LAX connection.

I'm also enacting my plan B just in case this takes too long.

I am sending my Fiance' and Mother-In-Law to be, to Puerta Princesa for some quality one on one time before my Faye leaves. It will also allow her to get past any fears of flying because she has never flown before.

I may end up having to purchase a non-stop to LAX for her and just drive out and pick her up then drive back to Kansas together.
