Everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure in perfect timing it will come.  I just hope I don't turn out to be a 150+ case lol

Long story about 'trespassing', but we joke in March about rolling over to April thread due to lack of approvals.

 

WIsh y'all luck with some rapid fire approvals for April to get the ball rolling.  How I'd love to see the day when VJ had a hundred approvals in one day - that's what we need to get back on track.  Hang in there

Before they stopped updating the tracker for approvals you used to see anywhere up to over 100 in a day which was very encouraging. It's a shame USCIS can't afford us that little thread of hope.

 

I can't believe yours still hasn't been adjudicated. I'm looking forward to toasting your approval very soon!

Yep, uscis wide - I'm sure they can do hundreds in a day. VJ seems to be 10% of the filers in uscis (just my gross estimate)  

We've had such poor miserable days since the end of last month, as something has occupied them other than the honey buns......

It looks like 2 month approvals are a thing of the past, and the new normal is going to be 4 to 5 month waits.  For sure, it would take a monumental miracle to get us all back on track.

 

As far as mine being adjudicated, yeah, I was that starry eyed dreamer and since the 10th of june, I've seen approvals a week before me and grow into approvals all around me - so yeah, I've been the very definition of anticipatory every minute of every day for 45 days.  Sheeez!  But I know I'm in good hands

Has anyone flown Philippine Air out of LAX to Manila?

I usually fly United thru Denver-Tokyo- Manila since I'm from Wichita, Ks Area.

also curious about United via Guam.

When I flew to Manila, I flew from Portland to Tokyo to Manila on Delta.  It was a good flight.  More than likely, that is how I will go the next time.

I considered Delta originally, but from Kansas everything is routed east to Atlanta then to Tokyo, which made no sense.

Yeah, I chose it because I wanted as few layover as possible and the price was pretty good.  Plus Delta has the free movies that they provide.  It looks like you have 2 layovers for sure.  what you could do is catch a flight to Portland and then get Delta like I do, I'm lucky I live in the Portland area.  Not sure if it would be better or not, still a very long flight.  

 

Are you just planning a visit or are you going to go over and fly back with her?

Oh HECK!  As long as I'm trespassing, might as well loiter and reply to this.......

 

Emirates was amazing (especially when compared to AA).  

Emirates "2 beers? Yes Sir"    AA "ONE!"

Emirates Great food, served with metal flatware, and Often!   AA I swear they tore the Swanson labels off it, threw a plastic fork and spoon at me, and came by 40 minutes later with a drink to wash the sodium down

Emirates let us get up and walk off our DVT's "some turbulence, just be careful"     -    AA "Sit DOWN!  Seatbelt!!!!!"

Emirates FLL to Dubai to MNL  30 hr travel w/ layover -     AA PBI to DAL to HKG to MNL 26 hr travel w/ layover

Emirates in flight entertainment was better than AA

Price was comparable in both airlines

 

As far as flying my princess home.......... Hands down, It's Emirates.

I don't know anything about Emirates or for that matter AA.  What I do know is that from PDX to MNL, that Delta is incredible.  I just did a check on Emirates from PDX and the cost was about 4x what the flight on Delta would have cost as well as being almost 2x longer flight and not sure where it was taking me.  CRK?  Clark?  Thru Dubai.  A little strange.  Almost 38 hour long travel time, compared to just 17 1/2 hours travel time.  I'm just saying I could get First Class for less on Delta than the cost on Emirates for Business.  I will stick with Delta.

I got three updates on the app today. The three of them were denials. Stupid USCIS updating only with bad news 

I guess the bright side here is it gives people time to get ready to fight

I got the same ones but they say decision mailed on each. Does that mean denial or is that a new way of them updating the cases on the tracker to be I guess discreet and avoid calls if someone sees the word approved/denial on their case inthe track before getting the hardcopy in the mail to avoid multiple questions?

I'm quite positive Decision Notice Mailed is what they use for NOIDS. Might be wrong, though. It would be nice to be wrong for once

Same here..only thing is the tracker kept telling me it couldn't find my case for a while
