Yes he is planning to call nvc to know our number, more like trying our luck since it's just 9 days from Noa2. But he's excited wants to schedule our medical and interview already so I guess no harm in trying so we can be together soon. At least you have your attorney to do that😊

So then how many days you wait after the NOA2 to start calling? Im just curious here, Im still waiting for my NOA2

They say 12-15 days after noa2. But my fiance wants to try our luck earlier since he was lucky getting our approval the first time he called so now he is gonna try our luck some more :jest: Good luck on your wait. I know how frustrating it is now but hang on there it is gonna be worth it when it comes😊

Unfortunately it will come snail mail.

Keith & Monica,

It looks like you and I have eerily similar timelines...both Philippines, both had RFE requests in the last week or two, both waiting on final NOA2.

Looks like you've been waiting for 10 days now for an NOA2? I hope they get a dose of adrenaline before the Labor Day weekend coming up and get both of ours out.

Day 144 since received (Apr 7). Nothing yet.  I will call later and see if i can get anything from USCIS.  Bitter sweet seeing people after my date getting approved.  Feels like we have been left behind.

Our received date is April 6. It's getting to me. It's gonna be 5 months of waiting for us next month. I hope it doesn't get longer than that. Our patience has been tested big time.

Thanks so much Estibaliz!  I had no idea what the number was and when to use it. I'll go update my i134 form and I'll let my fiance know to put it on the back of his passport photos.

I just played around with DHL and noticed that they ship out cases alot on Mondays and Saturdays. I played around with the August dates. Here's an example of what I put in.

www.dhl.com --> Express --> Tracking --> Track By Shipper's Reference

Shipper's Reference: EXP 08 AUG 2017A

Date range for shipment from: 06 08 2017

date range of shipment to: 23 08 2017

Account Number: (leave it blank)

Shipment Destination: Select you country

I agree with you that to see the status on the CEAC website will suffice for me also. I know some people really like monitoring very closely and have some kind of information about their case since during most of this process we are left in the dark. I am going to call NVC on this Thursday, which will be 14 days from my NOA2, to see if they have received my case and assigned a number. I'm ready to pick up my fiance from the airport!

Thank you so much for explaining that to me again, lol. I  gave it a try and got no results so I just thought I was being dumb and doing it wrong :P (Still might be the case ).

@JeniandMatt I'm being lazy, so I'll copy and paste what I said right before about the Alien number: "That A number in the NOA2 is the Alien Number. So far I've used it for the i134 and to write it in the back of my passport picture for the Embassy. I don't remember right now if it's required on the DS-160, but sure enough we'll need it later on to fill in more paperwork for AOS."

Also I know a certain someone around here (*wink, wink*) that called NVC only 6 days after NOA2 and got their case number, so no harm on trying

Okay well I sent the requested evidence (fiance's intent to marry letter), it was received yesterday according to USPS, and last night after midnight I got a status update from USCIS saying they did receive it.

So now the wait until NOA2 approval. I'm hoping it gets done this week. And then maybe early November she'll be here? Seems like forever.

Good to see that worked and was as fast as you wanted it to be. This process is always like that, we do all we can to speed things up, but then we find ourselves waiting again. Hope not too long for you :)

Well up to day 134 with no information. I called end of last week and they just said it was still in process could be up to 2 more months and gave me the whole processing from February line.

I believe this entire process is entirely designed to test ones patience. I will admit my hopes have been higher for this week but starting to doubt anything will show up before I leave on my next business trip. April 17th for the date they show as received. You all keep teasing me with dates in close proximity.

Hello everyone!

The waiting has been getting to me, but as always it's really nice to have a group of people here who can all relate to each others' struggles.

Anyway, our received date is April 28th and NOA1 date is May 2nd. I feel somewhat heartened by the idea that our magical post-NOA2 time is actually getting close. It seems that some people here have been approved right after calling and inquiring with USCIS officers. Do you think there's anything to this? And what's the number to call? Because I'll want to start calling soon either way.

Met on 15th of October, 2014 - started dating soon after

Became separated by the Atlantic Ocean on the 11th of July, 2015

Lots of Skype, visits, and love later...

The number is 1 (800) 375 - 5283

I don't think there is anything to it, but always worth a shot trying!

Make sure if you call to "insist" a tier 2 officer. Everybody knows they will try to tell you about normal processing times being February and all that fun stuff. Try to ask tier 2 if you have been assigned an officer, and go from their.

Good Luck!
